You know it was the same for me, no garlic this year, or so I thought! It is so flavorful & we'd miss it, so ordered a very small amount. Can't wait! xo
Oh Paul, Richard is a very lucky boy. What a catch you are. We love watching the week at the plot, and hope you have a much better growing season next year. Shame your plot neighbour didn’t take the advice with those apples, what a waste.
The weather certainly decided to change compared to Monday, but we don't need to water other than undercover plants. What will you do with your nemesia when it germinates ? I enjoy watching, thank you xx
Thanks for your video. As I had garlic white rot this year, I shall only grow elephant garlic this autumn. It seems that your plot size is smaller than a full plot in my allotment run by the city council. Therefore I have to do weeding often. Otherwise the plot will become a jungle.
Hope the white rot stays clear of your Elephant garlic. 🤞 Our plot size is a standard 10poles, so 250sqm - layouts can often make the same sized plots look totally different. 👍😊😊
Hi Paul. I know you said that you weren't using snail traps due to expense of the beer. Well, I was reading an article last week and they said to get yourself some bakers yeast, it's cheaper than brewers yeast apparently, and add 1 rounded teaspoon to 500ml of tepid water. Give a quick stir and use that in your traps. Works just the same apparently. Hope this helps if you try it.
Yes, I have heard of this and may give it a go again, as it did not work too well last time; it seemed to attract slugs, lose effectiveness and then the slugs would devour more. 😁

SO hoping that next year is a much, MUCH better year in the coming growing year. 🤞

Hi Paul, I have a skanky frog too and we call him Shrek! 😂 He lives in our very green swamp (I mean Pond!)
Yay for skanky and not-so-skanky frogs. 👍👍👍
Good video
Thanks Caroline. 👍😊👍

Lavender biscuits are sooo good. Have you tried making them?
Many years ago I made them, though with the current size of my waistline biscuits are not something I'd make. 😁👍😁
@@paulsavident 😄
With lavender, when l cut mine down, can I lay it on the bed, as a chop and drop to rot down, or will it seed,😢
You can indeed, and if seeds have matured and do germinate you can just hoe them off. 👍😊👍
Ok thanks 😊
