Nice haul . You will need a bigger display case soon . I once tried to collect TV & Movie cars .Its a rabbit hole , it seems that you can find a car for many shows, even when there is nothing iconic or different . The three wheeler reminds me of the car in Mr Bean . There are lens brushes , which has an air bulb . Thanks for the show.
Nice haul Jules, the giftset 19 hasn’t got too many variations other than the canopy on the Land Rover being smooth painted tin instead of plastic. The bars on the elephant cage can also be plastic or metal. These days Ebay tends to be the best place finding mint Dinky and Corgi as prices are at an all time low at the moment.
The prices are quite interesting. I've been discussing this with a friend and we generally think it's because the collectors have started to die off and less new collectors coming into the hobby. People under 50 have zero nostalgia with these, so less demand, lower prices🙂
I’ve just had to wait one week for the exact same set I would say my box that I’ve purchased is 8 out of 10. The model itself is the same. I’ve already got some Chipperfield Circus replacement stickers to make it perfect. Brought to my attention by Callum our friend from Plymouth . It should arrive next week really looking forward to it.
Who says you can’t learn from watching TH-cam? I never heard the word “plinth” before so thanks for sharing that. Did you notice on the elongated plinth panel it actually says the name of the vehicle and the theme? I thought that was very cool for display purposes. Keep the Corgi/Matchbox hauls and videos coming!
Callum has helped me out with information and a sale or two very knowledgeable person 😁
Fantastic, a great collector and an asset to the hobby 🙂

You're right, space is becoming a real issue. I'll try my best not to go down too many rabbit holes🙂

Excellent news. That Callum, he has a knack for sniffing out the good stuff! Love the Chipperfields range.
Just getting into some vintage HO scale trains - these are fantastic
Aren't they just 🙂
Great bubble car haul. I am envious. In the US, we do not see nearly as many Corgi as you do in the UK. Collecting Matchbox just isn't the same.
I've heard Corgi's are harder to find in the USA but Matchbox cars seem to turn up in much better condition than over here🙂
Nellie the elephant packed her trunk and said goodbye to the circus...
It's true🙂
Hard to imagine that it was a reality back in the day !?

Thanks Glen, it's not very often I get a few at the same time, sadly 🙂 Yes, I think the word plinth is the official name.
Nice video Jules
Thanks 🙂
