- Approaching year end and it is time for the Southern Motocross Vets GP at Horsham! I ride in the over 50s (combined with over 60s on the day), make a novice error, but otherwise have a great day out... Bike - 2003 KTM 200 SX.

When you showed us round I thought it looked very sandy but its actually really hard packed, good to see its not just me who forgets fuel tap from time to time. Great video buddy and im enjoying the content, its good to see those tracks down south that I might never get to ride...... been a northern lol.
I guess there's 'those who have and those who will' and I've just moved groups! I know what you mean re the grading - looks like a track like Elvetham that is more sand in the mix but the base is hard. I'd imagine it'd be tough in the wet! Anyway Sunday was pretty much perfect. Old style track and I love it 😍!
@stumpy200vetmx Yeah, I've rode a few places that once it's graded and wet down, it's great, but as soon as the lines get down to the hard pack, it's really slick and if it rains you're in for a treat. Glad you've rekindled your love for mx and the old 200, which isn't really that old, but let's see what this weekend brings and hope for cool nice weather and not baking sun 👍
@@DavesInHisGarage yes it's true: it's been a really shitty few years lately with few redeeming features... Except it has, totally unexpectedly, brought me back to Motocross. And I've recaught the bug :)!!!
