  • Tucked away on the western edge of Great Britain, a rugged and mysterious country rises dramatically out of the Irish Sea: Wales.
The coast of Wales is full of rugged beauty. With caves, sea stacks, arches, and spectacular beaches, Wales is sure to surprise and delight-I know it did for me! The Wales Coast Path offers hikers an opportunity to experience the country’s adventurous side…a side which doesn’t always get the recognition it should.
The Wales Coast Path, which is wonderful in and of itself, allows travellers to experience a series of additional adventures. I literally dove right into my adventures in Wales, trying my hand at the sport of coasteering for the first time, as well as sea kayaking through “The Bitches” - a spectacular spot off the coast where the tides flow back and forth over toothy rocks forming whitewater rapids.
My time in Wales is one I won’t soon forget, and I’m sure you’ll understand why after watching this episode of Trackin’ Dirt!

Been in China ten years. Returning in March to Wales with my Chinese wife. We hope to do the whole Welsh coastal path. Cant think of a better way to get connected. Tears in my eyes watching this. So glad that we have kept the coast so well in Wales. Like an good old desr friend. It changes but never much. And you feel safe and loved.

Wales was not on my list of places to hike...until now! Seriously!! And we’re glad you survived jumping off that cliff! Of course the high dive world record is 192 feet (58 meter)...just so you know! 😆😆

This is a great video mate, and you did a really good job showcasing Wales, wish more would give Wales a go. It's well worth it.
Edit - the UK government does virtually nothing to showcase Wales, favouring, to no surprise England.

This was great to watch, I go to Wales a lot and it was interesting to see all the areas I am completely unaware off! What is the mountain/area called at 16mins, I would love to go there with my walker friends?

Hey Mark Kennerley it’s a lovely part of the Llyn Peninsula near Snowdonia. The peak there is Yr Eifl, I recommend stopping at Nant Gwrtheyrn for a wonder plus they have amazing cakes haha. Also worth a stop and short walk is Porthdinllaen beach. Happy trekking 🤙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
