IMHO, I don't think that the specific brand you drank was good, but there's also a possibility that your water is not cold enough and you didn't chill your glasses... It makes a significant difference from refreshing to borderline nauseating. :-)

Remembered my first absinthe. French way, best drink to this day. It wasn't so strong which made me want to have more of it. Tripped balls in the next 20 mins or so. Great drink, would definitely say yes to another one
The one thing that is always missing (for obvious reasons) is laudnim. (Liquid opium)
