Jay Sankey said in a monte trick I watched earlier this week that changing the patter from you "getting" the spectator to you being the one that was fooled helps the gotcha factor. Also, I also love the fact that with this, it isn't only a key vanishing. The chain morphs into the key. Not familiar with the method but, I'd imagine it'd be super easy to switch in am I gimmicked key at the end and move into another key routine. This is brilliant!

Totally agree with your stance on magic. I've found great storys and presentations tend to stop your audience from feeling deceived or duped and in tern, less likely to look for a solution. So imo this is a breath of fresh air within the current releases of magic.
100% agreed! When i first got into magic, it was all card tricks, eventually you start hearing "another card trick?" Atleast i did everytime i learnt something new. I ordered repo after seeing it on the Zoom video, i had to have this! Got liquify too, waiting for liquid spectrum! Dibt get me wring, also ordered alot of your stuff too Lloyd! 😅 But love organic looking stuff like this!
There's an ending effect in the trailer which looks like you can pass out an examinable chain with key linked to it, at the end. Is this possible, and does the kit provide the necessary bits to have key vanish then reappear on the chain *clean*? Hope this make sense without giving too much away.
Can the key fit on a keyring with keymaster by craig petty? I'd really love to add this to my key magic repertoire, or would it be best to carry the key separately in terms of getting into the effect?
@robodopsnei just bought and watched tutorial, wouldn't be easy to have it on same keyring as keymaster, to set it up its better doing the ways tobias teaches as the two would clash and be unnatural, it is an awesome effect though.
Uhhh. I think people should stop doing this key linking to the chain part on camera lol. I can see how that would work well in the real world but it was obvious and clear to me right away seeing it on video and being able to rewind.
I'd say the cons outlined are really limitations, just like any other trick or illusion. The real con is the props. Every prop is obviously a prop to your audience. Which will take away from the "magic" effect. Props for this trick should look more like real items taken from the house. I realize this will raise the price, but it would be worth it in this case. Outside this, it's a great trick with the proper presentation.
