柔柔有先天性免疫缺陷疾病，眼睛看不見，皮膚沒有排汗功能。
即將上國中的夏天，她必須學會一個人坐火車去上學。

在媽媽阿桂的要求下，柔柔也開始學煮飯、點字、操作電腦...對柔柔來說，看不見，做什麼都好難；然而，媽媽內心的煎熬，又有誰看得見？

身為單親媽媽，職業是專科護理師的阿桂，為了盡可能照顧柔柔，總選擇上大夜班。沒辦法隨時陪伴孩子，也讓她感到無助。

Despite the obvious daily challenges of living in a world of darkness, the tender, calm, and considerate Apple is tapping her way forward to a better future one step at a time.
