Wayne's book, "Real Magic", is one of the most inspiring and powerful books I have ever read.

This guy, I found him just today, he is amazing, there is something great and in a way blessed about him. It's helping me reassess things in my life, my relationships and how I have responded to others, who in fact, are there to make me better. I have filled myself with the wrong juice and only thought people who encouraged me were worth caring for, but those who I've had fights with, indeed help me shape myself...to someone better than I thought before. Thank you Wayne :).

I don't know you, but today I just manifested a house. It has been a goal of mine to be a Homeowner since the Carter Administration.
Obstacles got in my way throughout the years, but today it finally happened.
Dr Wayne Dyer was so right. I gave myself a timeline of 4 months to be a homeowner, and I reached my 4th month today. I Did It! It finally happened!
I manifested myself as a property owner. It was a dream come true!

I agree with Dyer's mysticism:It's a spiritual Universe&everything/everyone's interconnected at a deep level. But is he cashing in on the guru resurgence?Did he see Chopra's success & seek to emulate, perhaps with mixed intentions, some laudable, others based on greed & self aggrandizement?
Hitching himself to Chopra's wagon for a while, joining Chopra onstage, did he use Chopra to springboard into his own Chopra act, including identical mantra meditation techniques "borrowed"from Maharishi's T.M.?

Man were you right. Today one of those Corporates walked all over me again, and they burst out laughing when I told them I am a distinguised person with titles and distinctions.
It made no difference. Looks like I can't change their attitude and outlook, but I did discover it doesn't matter what othes think. It only matters what I thin k about myself.
Thank you for making this hit home. I must learn that I can't change their attitudes, I can only change myself.

His seminars worked for me. I wanted a better job, a home of my own, a car, and low cost of living.
I achieved all these things in just 4 months.
My next goal is to get more recognition and respect from those people who always looked down on me.
I've dealt with insensitive bureacrats who demanded respect, but would return any back to me.
I've been in University for many years, I've earned titles and distinctions, and I expect people to honor me.
    I deserve it.

Ive seen his PBS shows&heard a tape of him onstage with Chopra before he ditched his friend to start up his own Chopra-like act.
Someone gave me his "Your Erroneous Zones" years ago That was when psychology self-help was all the rage.
Call me a cynic, but I can't help wondering if Dyer adopted a new spiritual schtick when Chopra's example proved the guru thing, meditation& spirituality's back,& secular self-help doesn't sell now..Am I mistaken or is he a man who loves the sound of his own voice?

I've learn how it feels like to be belittled by Doctors, Officers, and different ranks.
I'm not the type of person who is expecting the average person to respect me. I prefer being down to Earth and I'm easy to get on with lots of people.
I only expect the ELITE to start respecting me.
I've done all the hard work to get above their ranks, and Gosh nabbit I want some honor from those who shoved their self-righteous honor down my throat.

I mean people who assumed they were above me would NOT return respect back to me.
Now they will have to address me by my proper title whether they like it or not.
Some still call me 'MR' but I keep making it very clear I'm beyond just a simple 'MR.'
All my life, people wanted to be addressed as DR, Officer, Professor, Your Honor---NO MORE! I'm way above them now.
I hope it doesn't make me sound arrogant, but I was tired of Corporates walking all over me. Its my turn

"Your Erroneous Zones." was a good book, but after that he went into the spiritual thing ,,, i dont like that .. i like the rationality in "Your Erroneous Zones."

@pluto4847 LOL - you havent learned anything....'expectations of others leads to disappointment and anger....you are to only 'expect' the best of yourself..........
    Title and distinctions are irrelevant

  • @TheCultivatedMind

I don't. Your Erroneous Zones was good, but it didn't go far enough. All that Dr. Dyer did was continue to build on what he had already done.
