Your message was perfectly timed. Your understanding and dissemination of the nuances of these entities is deeply appreciated.
Good morning Mr Arith! I hope you are well? Congratulations wonderful work! Thank you so much 🌹
Hey buddy Jordan here again, your the best on TH-cam, but I I always learn and look forward to what could be coming. Your great.
Coming next. Peace to you buddy
Arith, thank for the time and effort you pit into these videos. Thank you every much.
Thank you! Very interesting, nice to have an actual historical perceptive on some of my fav characters from books and DnD!
Great video. Very interesting. Thank you Arith!🖤
Thank you Arith! As always a very useful video.
I came from your video on Frigg-Freya and I am wondering …are you ever going to write a book?
I don’t know if you’d find it worth your time, considering how much content you’ve put out in video form, but I’d absolutely buy it. Maybe a couple volumes, on more academic/historic and one more on your personal understandings and practices?
… 📚? …😊 🤷🏻♂️
Gostei do "Obrigado por hoje"... eu que agradeço suas explicações. Muito obrigado! 🇧🇷
I was Asatru on and off for many years, sometimes with a kindred, sometimes a solitaire. Beginning my journeys now as a shaman, I find anything about these creatures nothing less than fascinating. Thanks for sharing.
When is the description of the Hvítálfar?
Hi Arith, thank you so much for this video. Ethereal beings are one of my favourite subjects and I have to admit that trying to understan the alfar is a headache xD
Once, on the Northern shamanism website I read some testimonies from spiritworkers that say that the alfar weren't native to the norse cosmology, instead they just "arrived" as refugees and the Aesir granted them a world to live: Alfheim.
Later there was a civil war between alfar and the race split into two, the exiled elves roamed the nine worlds seeking refuge and the dvergar were the only ones that took them, allowing them to live on the surface of Nidavellir (while dvergar resided under the ground) and in some of the dvergar abandoned mines.
(I know it sounds like some cheap fantasy novel background but for me it makes sense)
Again, thank you, Arith.
As always.....great useful information. 🥰
Obrigado pela explicação, sanou algumas dúvidas minhas de um longo tempo
Thank you so much for this.
Highly interesting. Thank you!
You seem much happier after finding your two new feline friends, Arith! Thank you for your videos and wisdom
Had a big ah ha moment at the end there! The dwarves who live in the soil, rocks mountains etc their size depends on the physical thing they inhabit? Following the animistic ideal that all things have a spirit, small or big. Did I miss the point?
Light & dark elves analogy goes along with anunakis ( angels / watchers ) those fallen and another not fallen.. similarities are found also through natives world-wide. Naturally. Thank you once again & Blessings from Finland ❄️🙏🔥
Double blessings from Finland 🙏🏼
My thoughts too. The Alfar appear to be similar to what the Hebrew people knew as the Angelic spirits, of the heavens, and the Celestial realm. And the Svart'Alfar appear to be similar to the Daemonic/Earth Angelic spirits, of the Underworld. Both are highly intelligent and sentient beings, that are known to work together in 'liason' and in 'unity' indicating a 'relation' in there somewhere. A lot of mis-information through Religion, has mis-represented these 'spiritual beings' from other realms, and the Gods and Goddesses of Antiquity. And Religion has completely sent humanity in the wrong direction for the past few thousand years, and we are only now, beginning to 'rediscover' those spiritual truths again, probably through 'their guidance' and 'intervention', because of humanities destructive and mis-guided attempts at Evolution.

Beard is getting better!!
I love the attention to detail. Looking forward to seeing more
I wonder if the stories about elves, dwarves, trolls, etc in many different mythologies around the world reflect a memory of us Homo sapiens meeting our cousins such as Neanderthals, Denisovans, etc. Imagine how life might have been 300,000-20,000 years ago when we were not the only human species around. It would have been just like living in the world of Tolkien or the Elder Scrolls. Magical...
I wonder if they all came from inner earth with the "white" peoples and that's why anytime we hear about fairies/elves and the like it's from older "white" culture. What do you think about that theory?
@@Sun222Air skin colour is only to do with the climate, please don't think that there is any suggestion of white supremecy in these things. Beneath our outer skin, and our pigmentations, each one of our spirits, are (All) of, the same colour.
interesting meditation
No. Elves, Dwarves, Nymphs etc are not human at all. They are on much higher evolutionary level than any human will ever be
beautiful video, thank you so much. it makes sense that as we focus our consciousness into the roots of the tree, or our legs. we experience these dark elves. like a vampire or any hell being. then as we bring our consciousness higher in the tree we experience these light elves. like the kundalini moving threw the nervous system and spinal chord. or the snake moving threw the tree.
this video was fantastic and so informative! Skol!
First time viewer here. Just a thought, to me there seems to be a lot of "jumping around" so it feels a bit confusing. The dwarves are a type of alf and they are said to have created the tools of the Gods and mostly contact with them would end positively, but you dont really go into any depth regarding the different types of alf and what makes them different except that it seems like the differences came in with christianity(atleast in iceland?) where the light alfs are like angels and dark alfs is like the opposite. Basically i would like more focus on the topic and not so much on the surrounding circumstances. Other than that, good job!
thank you
Gratidão por todo conhecimento 💜💜💜🐦⬛🐦⬛🌼🌼
This is a very interesting video, it explains the differences between the different kinds of elves and dwarves very well and shows the origins of modern fairy tales, regional customs and fantasy literature. Perhaps this influences could have been explained more in detail but i know this would expand this video to hours.
I guess the appearance of dwarves as little people dressed in coats and pointed hats comes from children working in mines in medieval times. Don't know though how this fits with beeing described as longbearded, perhaps because of the dirty faces. The lack of female dwarves also might come from this because i'm pretty shure mostly boys were sent into the mines but not girls.
Often shown with very colourful clothes this could have been that way to be better found in case of getting buried caused to mine collapses.
This transition from invisible to visible entities is a medieval phenomenon in my point of view when people tried to visualize all kind of religious or mythological beeings which were thought to be invisible before.
I think it's also something to do with ancestor worship, and the spirits of the old ancestor/landowner being reincarnated in the new descendant's child body.
Eh no. People need to stop trying to rationalize the spiritual realm. Dwarves or gnomes are elemental beings of the element of Earth. There a methods in ceremonial magic in which you can evoke them to physical appearance for tasks such as loading talismans and such. These beings are very real just on more subtle planes of reality.
@@RyanTucker-r5d Nobody said anything against that.
It's all about how unseen sprits of the earth became visualized beings over time in literature and folklore. And this transition can be rationalized.
-is there any story of accessing the same entity in different locations?
Interesting that Snorri saw 12 anything. Since the Jews elevated their 12 tribes in Judaism and the ancient Canaan relgion saw 12 races of Angels I am now wondering if 12 has anything to do with Norse stuff. They seem to be really into 9 though.
why they ain't any ancient drawing or carving for these entities?
Hello, sorry to ask but I'm creating a story based around dark elves and was hoping to get a second opinion, if you don't mind?
I Wonder if this influenced Paracelsus in his conceptualization of gnomes.
thank you !!
The group gnosis of several Northern Tradition shamans who have journeyed through the 9 worlds (as summarized in "Pathwalker's Guide to the Nine Worlds" by Raven Kaldera) is that the Aesir made Frey the lord of Ljosalfheim, which is mostly inhabited by a number of houses/clans of light elves who are very shiny and magical. My UPG is that in ancient times, seven elven houses cross-bred with Jötnar (very taboo), and got into a war with the other houses. Those seven houses got exiled and became dark elves. They moved to the world inhabited by dwarves/Duergar. We call that world Svartalfheim, but the Duergar part is called Nidavellir. The dwarves are deep underground, a mile plus. Dark elf freefolk and thralls live in tunnels closer to the surface, and nobles and some freefolk live in tree cities. The forests on the surface of Svartalfheim are fairly dangerous and well-guarded. The trees are allied with the dark elves and attack people who don't have permission to be there.
What do the look like ?
Elves look like beautiful people
🙏👍
Grazie
So you're saying Freyr rules over angels? Very curious as it doesn't seem to be the same conclusion that has been arrived at by other scholars or the experience of modern practitioners on the Light Alfar. So contingently, I have to disagree with you on the Light Alfar until I see more of your research.
-Godhi
No. That's not what I said. I said it was Snorri Sturluson that expressed the Christian Idea of angels in the Light Elves. He specifically places them (and described them) the same way as angels during that period. He is describing angels when he speaks of Light Elves. He called "light elves" the Christian angels. More information on the next video, next week. I didn't speak of Freyr in this video.
tang you
Geggjað myndband 👍
I need you to do a video where you're describing pagan principles to your fellow peons in long converted medieval Europe. Exactly as you do your videos but your just standing in front of a bunch of medieval farmers and laborers but you still have terrible old traditions woven into the knowledge.
You talk to much without getting to the subject.
