There is no reason an airline like Air Canada that has a monopoly in the market can only staff 2 people for a 400 person line and canceling thousands of flights for no reason. Why is the government holding back employees in security screening and Service Canada?
I was there last week too! The customer service lady told me the only Tim Hortons is by gate 44 which is the other side of the airport from D12. But it was near Gate 28 this whole fckn time!! I found it by taking a wrong turn. I did like the exercise tho.

Absolute Garbage. Extra security includes your bags being scanned at least twice by useless xray machines and then prodded through by people asking that that bottle yes two that's, you packed really has only 100grams of face oatmeal cream in it. Come on. Then you get swab and then temperature check and wait in endless lines. More garbage.

The disorganization at Pearson is common when anything changes. Years ago it was the line to open and start up all your digital devices to be checked and cleared. NUTS 🥜 Then the new passport scanners didn’t work - what a mess. It’s constant. They need to take a page from Disney - NOOO line ups. Stamp your ticket and come back at this time exactly. Processing using proper time management equipment would put people at ease. What ya don’t do is make them stand in a line for hours with luggage and babies and seniors….
Monkey Pox is out now which is threating to the travel industry as we seen with covid (gaving lockdowns) so people probably want to travel while they can. Also, The Ukraine flights are all landing now in Toronto.
So glad I don't travel anymore ! I stopped when I realized how freaking expensive everything is out there, and I hate going cheap. The attractions, hotels, restaurants etc. are such rip-offs ! I'm tired of feeling like such a succer ! The whole thing just feels like one big hassle !
