Fashion Street is a renowned spot for shopping in Pune. It is a street market located in one of the prime locations in the city. Here, one can find a variety of products to suit their requirement. Fashion Street is often crowded as the prices are extremely affordable. Plus, customers can always bargain. Like most street markets, the shops and the kiosks are placed closed to each other on either side of the street. The narrow lane that remains in the middle of the street is used by the customers who dodge and find a way through the crowd. Peak hours of the day draw people for shopping in large numbers. One may want to visit Fashion Street a little early to explore it completely.
Although Fashion Street can be a great place for shopaholics, it has its limitations too. The products sold there are mostly sourced from manufacturers in Mumbai who make counterfeit products. So, one would find them to be made from low-quality fabric or material and also with forged logos. If the requirement is to buy quality and original products that last longer, people can skip this attraction. But, if one wants to buy accessories, trinkets etc. as gifts in bulk, can check it out. Many also visit for buying memorabilia from their visit to Pune. For those buying clothes also have to be careful with the size as it, quite often, is not what is mentioned on the tag. Although there are some disadvantages of shopping at Fashion Street, people can still manage to team up some great look in a small budget.
