I actually cried while listening to this. I just broke up with my girlfriend a few months ago and my family has been saying "I told you so" and I should've never got together with a girl. Correct me if I’m wrong/ in case someone needs an explanation :) Story is that she breaks into her and her ex gf’s old house in which her ex gf and the new bf live. She reminisces on the times she spent in the house with her gf while finding her ex gf’s stuff like perfume and lipstick and trying it on bc she misses her. In heartbreak, she also messes up the place, paints over her ex gf’s painting, and throws away the new bf’s stuff. The ex gf knows it was her bc of the bf’s face being painted over in the picture but she’s already gone and moving on. Hope this helped! :D

I listened to this song for the first time in a while just now and god the amount of nostalgia that rushed over me was indescribable. I have a really bad memory, so while I don't actually associate this song with any particular memories, but I guess being reminded of 3 years ago still has an impact on my mind. It gave me chills. Since most of you are confused, this is my take on how the video is interpreted: The main girl in the mv is in love with her art teacher (This was said by Wheein herself), but which of the two is the art teacher? Here goes: Throughout the mv, you see the girl longing for someone that is obviously already taken by someone else, we see this because she seems heartbroken and always seems to be staring at an empty space. Honestly, this video can be seen as a young girl who is foolishly in love with someone, too the extent that she breaks into her wanted person's home, and fantasize moments with them. Although, this kept backfiring on her because every-time she tried to make herself happy by thinking of moments with the teacher, she kept being reminded that they are already dating someone else. Looking at the beginning of the video, she puts down a frame that seems to be a picture of a man, but the other side of the picture was blocked off. This gave the depiction that the main girl's love interest is a male teacher. Or is it? In the music video we also see the girl taking all of the male's belongings and throwing it away (i.e. toothbrush, clothes, razor), while she keeps the females belongings and uses them with a satisfied smile on her face (i.e. clothes, lipstick, perfume, etc.). Some might say that she did this because she was so in love with the man that she wanted to pretend to be the girlfriend. I personally disagree with this theory because why would she throw away the man's belongings if she was in love with him? In one part of the mv, you can see her frown when she is smelling the male's cologne (3:10) , but smile with happiness when she was smelling the females perfume (5:05) . Its all up to anyone's own personal interpretation tbh, but the biggest hint for me was when she was dancing with a FEMALE mannequin (3:05) . You can tell she was at her happiest in the moment. The last and final deciding factor for me was the frame at the end. Why would she cover the man's face? Is it because she hated that the man left her for another woman? I don think so. She covered the man because she was in love with the female teacher. The fact that she threw away the man's belongings meant she wanted the woman she loved for herself. She wished the man to go away so she could finally be with the person so loved so dearly. Another honourable mention to this is, in one of Wheein's Teaser video's, she clearly mentions that love is diverse, and that no matter how different they are, it is all the same. That Love is Love. Again, many people can interpret this the way they want to, but I don't think it hurts to believe that LGBTQ community is being represented positively by a famous influencer. It's not easy for anyone to do that, and the fact that Wheein was able to create something that hints at it at the very least is so brave and kind of her. (Edit): THE ACTRESS JUST CONFIRMED IN A COMMENT ON INSTA THAT IT IS INDEED GAY. SHE WAS INLOVE WITH A FEMALE TEACHER 😭😭. Its a win for the gays today!!
I love your point on the *female mannequin* 👍👍 For the other "points" they can be explained differently (like she's not throwing away but packing up the male's stuff (to keep them by her own), and pretending to be the man's girlfriend by wearing his girlfriend's clothes and makeup; look sad bc the cologne reminds her the scent of the man she can't be with etc.), but the female mannequin is really strong, undeniable and detailed hint. And the ending, that paint and the female teacher's facial expression, definitely confirmed the storyline (or loveline).

The video up to this point is somewhat ambiguous about who he was upset over (2 of his friends were getting married). At the very end, he tosses aside the photo of the girl and places the guy next to himself, crying. In this video, it's a similar ending. You are lead to assume that the MV is about a guy, that's she's tossing the guy's things out. But then at the end you realize that she wasn't in her own home. She broke into the home of the couple who came in. The guy runs off camera and the MV ends with a focus on the woman. She walks up to the painting then picks up a photo of her with her boyfriend, and sees that he was painted over in the photo. I will give you that it's left open to interpretation, but for me the fact the video shares the same director as Please Don't, the fact that we see her dancing with a female mannequin, putting on the other's woman's lipstick, clothes, and perfume, and the fact that the MV ends with a focus on the woman's reaction rather than the man's tells me she was actually in love with the woman. If she were simply wishing to take the woman's place, it doesn't really make sense why she was throwing away the guy's things, and why she blocked him out of the photo instead of her.

Among mamamoo members, yes she is underrated. But she received charts all kill for this song and is still charting in korean music charts and that shows how much k-nets appreciate her as a ballad artist.
She's actually quite popular given that Wheein doesn't do many shows on her own. Many artists want to collab with her it is said, but she's got anxiety and is quite shy around people she doesn't know. It is amazing that this song did an all kill without any promotion on her part. So immagine how much more could achieve if she did promotions, but anything to keep Wheenie healthy and happy!

She reminisces on the times she spent in the house with her gf while finding her ex gf’s stuff like perfume and lipstick and trying it on bc she misses her. In heartbreak, she also messes up the place, paints over her ex gf’s painting, and throws away the new bf’s stuff. The ex gf knows it was her bc of the bf’s face being painted over in the picture but she’s already gone and moving on.

Since most of you are confused, this is my take on how the video is interpreted:
The main girl in the mv is in love with her art teacher (This was said by Wheein herself), but which of the two is the art teacher? Here goes:
Throughout the mv, you see the girl longing for someone that is obviously already taken by someone else, we see this because she seems heartbroken and always seems to be staring at an empty space. Honestly, this video can be seen as a young girl who is foolishly in love with someone, too the extent that she breaks into her wanted person's home, and fantasize moments with them. Although, this kept backfiring on her because every-time she tried to make herself happy by thinking of moments with the teacher, she kept being reminded that they are already dating someone else. Looking at the beginning of the video, she puts down a frame that seems to be a picture of a man, but the other side of the picture was blocked off. This gave the depiction that the main girl's love interest is a male teacher. Or is it?
In the music video we also see the girl taking all of the male's belongings and throwing it away (i.e. toothbrush, clothes, razor), while she keeps the females belongings and uses them with a satisfied smile on her face (i.e. clothes, lipstick, perfume, etc.). Some might say that she did this because she was so in love with the man that she wanted to pretend to be the girlfriend. I personally disagree with this theory because why would she throw away the man's belongings if she was in love with him? In one part of the mv, you can see her frown when she is smelling the male's cologne (3:10) , but smile with happiness when she was smelling the females perfume (5:05) . Its all up to anyone's own personal interpretation tbh, but the biggest hint for me was when she was dancing with a FEMALE mannequin (3:05) . You can tell she was at her happiest in the moment.
The last and final deciding factor for me was the frame at the end. Why would she cover the man's face? Is it because she hated that the man left her for another woman? I don think so. She covered the man because she was in love with the female teacher. The fact that she threw away the man's belongings meant she wanted the woman she loved for herself. She wished the man to go away so she could finally be with the person so loved so dearly.
Another honourable mention to this is, in one of Wheein's Teaser video's, she clearly mentions that love is diverse, and that no matter how different they are, it is all the same. That Love is Love.
Again, many people can interpret this the way they want to, but I don't think it hurts to believe that LGBTQ community is being represented positively by a famous influencer. It's not easy for anyone to do that, and the fact that Wheein was able to create something that hints at it at the very least is so brave and kind of her.
(Edit): THE ACTRESS JUST CONFIRMED IN A COMMENT ON INSTA THAT IT IS INDEED GAY. SHE WAS INLOVE WITH A FEMALE TEACHER 😭😭. Its a win for the gays today!!

And the ending, that paint and the female teacher's facial expression, definitely confirmed the storyline (or loveline).

yep!!! my thoughts are similar to yours, obviously this video can be interpreted in different ways(since this is Korea they can't make it too obvious), however, my conclusion is more towards that she is in love with her female art teacher. It's the details that matters, throwing away the male's clothes, and crossing out the male's picture if you love him why would you do so huh?

The video up to this point is somewhat ambiguous about who he was upset over (2 of his friends were getting married). At the very end, he tosses aside the photo of the girl and places the guy next to himself, crying.
In this video, it's a similar ending. You are lead to assume that the MV is about a guy, that's she's tossing the guy's things out. But then at the end you realize that she wasn't in her own home. She broke into the home of the couple who came in. The guy runs off camera and the MV ends with a focus on the woman. She walks up to the painting then picks up a photo of her with her boyfriend, and sees that he was painted over in the photo.
I will give you that it's left open to interpretation, but for me the fact the video shares the same director as Please Don't, the fact that we see her dancing with a female mannequin, putting on the other's woman's lipstick, clothes, and perfume, and the fact that the MV ends with a focus on the woman's reaction rather than the man's tells me she was actually in love with the woman. If she were simply wishing to take the woman's place, it doesn't really make sense why she was throwing away the guy's things, and why she blocked him out of the photo instead of her.

Wheein hasn't had a proper solo promotion yet, but if she did I suspect it wouldn't get the attention as hwasa's solos or Solar's. Moonbyul's solo albums have pretty great sales but it's been almost 10 months and we still can't get her solo mv to past 7M views.
