You took that old tub and got 'er ship-shape! Very nice work, I can't wait to see her shakedown cruise. All you need now is the squid to menace your Sea Adventurer and the viewer to see the action unfold. From what I've been told the underwater viewer is pretty much useless, but I imagine any kid who had one of these was in the water with the sub, and swim goggles/diving masks would be much better anyway. Pity about the crack in the dome, but you did damage control so it should still display just fine. If you wanted to, you could pull a 2 piece mold from it and recast it in clear resin, but I know that the silicone and resin aren't exactly cheap, so you probably saved yourself some cash buying the "new" one. The replacement decals look great, but the depth markers on the bow crack me up - in order for them to be accurate, Joe would have to be about 14 feet tall (16 inches in 1/6 scale) and that is just weird. Then again, maybe the Intruders, mummy, and pigmy gorilla/yeti were actually normal sized and the Adventure Team guys were freakish giants. That opens up a whole other can of worms, especially with the Undercover Agent set - is that mask really going to convince the opposition that Joe isn't the guy they want, even though he's the only 14 foot tall guy in the country? Or maybe I'm just over thinking things as usual. Another great video, and I'm looking forward to seeing this beauty in action. As always, Keep Living the Adventure!
