    When you mention Microsoft D365 in all your videos, are you referring to Microsoft Dynamics AX/F&O or Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Business Central). D365 has 2 ERP Products so we are confused when you mentioned D365 without referring to which ERP product?

    • @erickimberling
      @erickimberling  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Edmond Hong primarily F&O since more of our clients are deploying or already using it, but we’ve also seen BC deployed successfully as well. We lump them together into one product D365 product offering when considering the rankings.

      Hi Rushanth, there are a number of good options. SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft are common solutions worldwide, so there may be more opportunities in these areas. Up and coming systems like IFS, Workday, etc. may have less opportunities, but there are also less qualified consultants in these areas, so those are good options as well.

    I'm getting headhunted from an aerospace company. They are currently looking to replace their ERP system- what ERP system would you recommend? This company makes rockets to launch various items (i.e. satellites into space).

    • @erickimberling
      @erickimberling  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's hard to say without knowing much about the details, but something like an IFS or an Epicor may fit well. We have helped some of our A&D clients implement both over the years and both seem to be a good fit with their project management and product configuration capabilities. Good luck with the recruiting process!

    • @msh104utube
      @msh104utube 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@erickimberling They actually use Infor LN now, but want to move away from it because they stated Infor is a bit outdated. I can't release more details on here of course, and at this point I don't have all the dets. My colleagues have told me Raytheon uses SAP. To your knowledge, how has SAP fared in the aerospace industry? I've worked with SAP in the paint and epoxy industry manuf. industry, but don't know how it fares in aerospace.

      Michael H Our Aerospace division uses QAD. It seems to be a decent functional fit. They’ve been looking at SAP S4 but have kicked the can down the road for a couple of years (I suspect).

      @@richardhoulton4016 Hey, thanks for the info. I haven't heard of QAD, but I'll put that on my mental checklist. Sounds about right for SAP- it takes years to plan and a boatload of money.
