Hi! So for 2 rows I did only single crochets to extend the length of the pot. It shouldn’t ball up at that point because we haven’t decreased to curve it in. I’m not sure what could be the reason why it’s shaping that way 😬😬. Maybe you can do less rows of the single crochets then decrease

Oh honey, people can be really annoying lol! Maybe you should can tell your neighbor you do tutorials on TH-cam at certain times. And sweetly ask her not to vacuum at those times? ☺️. But it really doesn't bother us! Well, me at least.
😆 I usually film my videos around 4/5 in the morning now since the evenings can get really loud. The noise usually doesn’t bother me but it seems to always happen when I film a video 🤣
Before I start crocheting with the dark brown yarn I just insert the safety eyes right through the yarn and I secure it with the backing that it comes with.

And when you decrease make sure it’s in the back loop only so it’s flat in the bottom
What are the name of the colors you used and what brand yarn? Thanks!
The yarn is Caron’s one pound yarn. The green is called grass green, the dark brown is espresso and I think the light brown is called taupe 😸🧶 🌵
