Hello Ping. Weather is nice recently! Right timing. I would suggest to install a vpn BEFORE coming (try Astrill, NOT expressvpn - this does not work in China anymore, you can further research though just to be sure). Apps like Google map, Google, fb, ins, WhatsApp and others are blocked in China so you will need vpn to access those sites/apps.. Would also suggest to buy a local sim card as you will need a local number to link credit card to wechat/alipay as few shops accepts cash/foreign credit card. But if you do get lost, most cafes like Starbucks, wagas, baker and spice will have wifi ☺️ my friends who visited brought with them a pocket wifi so they have internet all the time, you can check your local telecom companies if they have such service, this can be an option too. But you still need vpn and mobile number and wechat or Alipay to truly enjoy your trip ☀️☀️ hope this helps.
