+Chris Zoupa (Learn That Solo) much love from a long time subscriber Chris! Thank out for helping me out over all these years. Wouldn't be playing the same without you! Much love brotha.
Chris Zoupa om having a hard time understanding it all I got the first part down I had kinda figured it out but from the 17th to 13th and all that doesn't make sense
Thank you for redoing this solo. Your intro examples always sound good and your transcriptions are as accurate as they come. But you really played the shit out of this one. Beautiful
Whenever I want to learn a solo I always come to check if you have a video on whatever song it is I’m learning first because you’re one of the best teachers out here on TH-cam and you know what you’re doing. Thank you for every bit of time you put into making these videos you’re amazing
I really really appreciate all of your videos, Chris. You've really taught me to be a better guitarist and you do a lot of amazing songs that I've never heard of but I still learned because they sound amazing! Thank you for taking the time to do all these. You're fucking awesome!
I have learned more from watching your videos in 2 months than in my 14 years playing guitar.. thank you for taking the time to explain everything you're doing.
Thank you Chris ! A lot of respect from India. You are a very patient teacher and your lessons are lovely to follow ! You’ve helped me become a better guitarist ! And I intend on learning a lot more through your videos this quarantine season. Hope you are doing well healthwise! Take care.
Idk if I've said this on another video, but I'm so stoked I found your channel. Words can hardly express. You have become my virtual guitar teacher. Much love, Mr. Zuopa! \m/
hey dude, thank you for taking time to do this. I've used a few of for videos to learn stuff. when you go back through each section slowly with tabs, would you please use a metronome so we have a better understanding of where the beats fall? it would help guys like me a lot, you know, the guys that are pretty terrible at guitar (even though we've played obsessively for almost 20 years)
This was the first hard solo I tried to learn! It would be really cool that you make a lesson for "Aviator" by Polyphia Last solo is crazy! Keep up the good work!
Woow very fantastic Mr. Chris Zoupa!! i'm from indonesia and i've seen lot of your videos, especially about avenged sevenfold's songs. I'm lovin it! it's very helpful for me to learn that solo. Thank you very much sir for the lessons ;) keep be a great guitar teacher👍
Hello Chris! I just wanted to say that thanks to your videos I have progressed in my discipline when playing the guitar, thanks for being a genius to teach for the community. I hope you keep uploading videos of Avenged Sevenfold! Haha, Greetings from Argentina
I'm glad you re did this lesson! Thanks a lot! I know you're full of request but The Spirit Carries On - Dream Theater is my favorite solo ever and it would be amazing to learn it from you
Jackson Blevins my mind and soul and passion, all wants to learn that solo but I cant do the speedy parts! I have a terrible problem or in other words, a very bad habit that I cant overcome. I have been playing for 3 years now but only recently I noticed that the reason I cant get speedy is because I only move my thumb when I pick.. wrist just stays straight. I'm trying to change that.. but cant get the idea right. and obviously you cant play much faster with your thumb only. it has its limitation so there it is. my big depressing answer hehe XD
Lol,I'm not trying to be a know it all but try out different techniques see what help, practice in a clean tone and gradually add distortion, also, if you want, palm mute the fast scale part (lightly) and see if that helps
Hey Chris I remember you said a while back you went through Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria with a student and you considered making a video on it. Just wondering if you are still thinking about it! Also wondering if you could do some more Randy Rhoads era Ozzy stuff like Over the Mountain.
sir, you are the best guitar teacher I have ever seen..!! and sir plz make a tutorial on WE STITCH THESE WOUNDS by BLACK VEIL BRIDES.!! plz its a request..!!!
For me I thought the end was going to be the hardest part and it ended up being the easiest. By just watching zacky vengeance and synyster Gates play this I was blown away but now I know what they're doing it's not as impressive, which is good for me cuz now I can play it 🤘🏻... It really makes me not be that guy that says no I can't play that cuz I can't tell you how many times I've said that and then I learned the song .
How do you like the PRS tremolo on that guitar? I've been considering a guitar that has one but have been curious how it holds up without the locking nuts up top. In practical terms.. would the tuning survive a play through of Judas Priest's "Painkiller"?
hey sir!!! you a teacher ? ... im from indonesia , i like you play a melody beast and the harlot , this is a Favorite song !!!.. I need a teacher like you !!!
If you watch Sinister Gate's studio breakdown of beast in the harlot, even he says that part 3 was too hard for him, he literally sound bit it the whole way bar to bar, and plays a simplified version live ;)
hello Chris, would you mind listen to Jaguar '13 by Michiya Haruhata and make a tutorial lesson about the solo? cause I've diggin araound and doesn't making any result. thanks! sorry for my english ;)
Section 1: 4:52 - 5:10
Section 2: 9:37 - 10:00
Section 3: 13:32 - 13:47
Section 4: 15:47 - 16:03
Don't mind me just noting down tab time stamps for myself and anyone that needs!
Thank you!!!!!
I still think it's amazing how you manage to remember not only how to play these solos but also manage to explain how to play them the way you do.
+TheTonyborbony Well... I try!
The Reverend listen to the song by setting the playback speed real slow. You'll understand it then :)
Thank you for redoing this solo. Your intro examples always sound good and your transcriptions are as accurate as they come. But you really played the shit out of this one. Beautiful
I can't stop laughing at the GnR poster behind Chris looking like ears 😔
Brandon Grayson lol
Same, lol XD

Thank you very much sir! Much easier to learn from than the older "low-def" version.
This lesson is even better than the first, and that one was really good. Thanks for this! :)
The Sun must do some pretty amazing solos to be mentioned un Chris' description of The video
+Nicolas Arango I suck :(
+Chris Zoupa (Learn That Solo) Same :(
+Hearty Oatmeal I love oatmeal
J Kellan ❤❤
My favorite part of the solo are those cool harmonized runs at the end. Sounds kinda like rain to me :)
+Silas Sell thats exactly how i think it sounds too. now i know im not crazy
+Silas Sell Perfect description of chromatics haha!
Awesome job! I’ve been wanting to learn this lead since I first saw them play live in 2006.
Thank you Chris ! A lot of respect from India. You are a very patient teacher and your lessons are lovely to follow !
You’ve helped me become a better guitarist ! And I intend on learning a lot more through your videos this quarantine season.
Hope you are doing well healthwise! Take care.

such a beautiful tone, great solo!
Idk if I've said this on another video, but I'm so stoked I found your channel. Words can hardly express. You have become my virtual guitar teacher. Much love, Mr. Zuopa! \m/

Woow very fantastic Mr. Chris Zoupa!! i'm from indonesia and i've seen lot of your videos, especially about avenged sevenfold's songs. I'm lovin it! it's very helpful for me to learn that solo. Thank you very much sir for the lessons ;) keep be a great guitar teacher👍
amazingly accurate and great tutorial dude.

City of Evil really made it up for their solo-less first albums. Good solo and nice playing. Thank you :)
What are you talking about? The album before city of evil had great solos.
Waking the Fallen had a bunch of great solos though- the best ones being the one on Chapter Four and the one on I Won't See You Tonight Part 2.

it's a pretty easy solo, don't see why you can't if you put your mind to it
Jackson Blevins my mind and soul and passion, all wants to learn that solo but I cant do the speedy parts! I have a terrible problem or in other words, a very bad habit that I cant overcome.
