The Game talked about a life-changing event where he was shot. He said he didn’t know the people who shot him but woke up from a coma three weeks later. His attitude towards this near-death experience was one of indifference, given the perilous lifestyle he was accustomed to growing up. He mentioned, however, that his children, now growing up in a completely different environment, couldn’t relate to this mentality. One of his proudest achievements is his first-born attending college. But he also expressed concern about the sensitive era his kids are growing up in, where issues that were previously dealt with personally are now being shared openly on platforms such as TikTok, potentially leading to dangerous situations. Game might be having the wildes takes and he's definitely notorious for that, but I give him credit in this video about this generation. I turned 32 this year and I didn't have a moms or pops who sat down with me to give me this "listen, maybe try this" talk. Nah, I had to stfu and figure it out myself, that's why I was out there day and night with the homies. It's just a circle, my parents never had proper education and stuff like that, so they did what they always did and I just kinda went along. I went thru different stages to find my place and then I found video games and various other things to prosper.
I matured early but I still find myself even today how I sometimes fall back into being a "kid" in a sense that sometimes I just wanna play video games (what actually saved me from doing more crazy stuff) and eat candy type ish. So yeah, I feel him when he said that they didn't have it. I wish I had parents who I could talk to, who understood what I needed (just a chat to express my feelings etc). It changes you, makes you move different that others in your age and definitely will make an impact on your adult life aswell.
