Got them yesterday. No issues at all. Might have to play with the equalizer a bit to get it right. I was turning heads to find out what im sensing on my skin. It was the wind from a small air cooler that was less than 4 feet away. Couldnt hear it
Great video and solid review! I have a pair of the M3's and earbud M4's, both are great (I showed them off to my Mom during a visit and she went and got herself an M3 as well). I've had the M3's for a while now and my main concern is the wear on the headband and the ear's, I don't wear them often as they now sit on a stand in my living room and only get used when I watch TV and don't want to disturb my neighbors. I'm almost tempted to upgrade.......almost.

I hope the Sony WH-1000XM5 go on sale at Best Buy, Black Friday 2023. Last year 2022 on Black Friday, Best Buy had the Sony WH-1000XM4 noise cancelation headphones on sale for $228 saving me over $100. I use my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones to watch my Samsung 2022 S95B OLED 4K Smart Television. The sound quality watching movies, T.V. series, and sports is fantastic on the Sony Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. Now I want to upgrade to the Sony WH-1000XM5. I must say, these headphones are too expensive.🥺 😢 😭
Honestly - I'd say don't upgrade if you have the XM4's! Even though I haven't been able to try those ones myself, I definitely agree that as an upgrade to the XM4s, the price of the XM5's are too expensive. I'd say only upgrade if it's on a good sale for Black Friday. I also think the look the XM4's look better. 😀

I wore them today for the first time using my HP desktop computer watching a TH-cam video. The sound on my computer wearing the Sony M4's were much better than wearing them to watch television. I am hoping the M5's might go on sale Black Friday 2023 at Best Buy. I am a Best Buy Total Tech Member and we get Best Buy sale information emailed to us before non Best Buy members. $400 is too much for some headphones because I might need a new laptop and I am considering an Apple laptop. The Apple's computers are very expensive.

Why so many ppl complaining about lack of fold ability of this headphones?! This is OVEREAR headphones. I personally prefer quality over the practicality. So if u seeking the ultra portability there are a world of TWS headphones!

I think it's only available for Android ATM and even then, I think the feature requires Android 13 or 14
