Withering Rooms is a challenging 2.5D horror adventure set in a procedurally generated Victorian mansion that changes every night. Nightingale is sent by her father to Mostyn House, a strange and cursed place filled with walking corpses and a strange set of friends, merchants, liars, and witches each with their own agenda. Sneak through Mostyn House to gather weapons, distractions, magical artifacts, keys, and crafting materials. Take curse damage and watch as the walls begin to drip with blood, strange hauntings occur, and illusions, spirits and traps become visible. Discover secret passageways, dusty attics filled with treasure, and even the ever-changing Byzantine Labyrinth that lies beneath Mostyn House. Take the sting out of death by performing rituals to preserve items from night to night or permanently level up. Cast a wide variety of devious spells - create hex traps on closet doors, enchant suits of armor to assist you, or create a decoy mimic of yourself. Greater dangers - and greater treasures - await you in the hedge mazes, tombs, caves, churches, and ruins beyond the Mostyn House grounds.
This is a decent rough draft. Some of the animations feel far too rigid to be believable. The sound design is good and most everything works. Keep at it. and you'll have yourselves a winner.
It takes much longer than that. This is my second playthrough. I wanted the video to be efficient to help people progress through the game if they get stuck.
Not being fun, but the guy has the game on easy differently. I'm playing this game at the moment, and the enemies have like 3× of the hp, and they hit harder, making the game more challenging and fun
I can't follow the dialogues: too fast. I can't slow down the video or pause every dialogue, as it would disrupt the experience. I know you kids like to show off how quickly you can read, but I can't. Since the content is meant for viewers, you should probably give more consideration to those like me who are not native speakers and need one or two extra seconds to read a dialogue.👎
Just pause the video like a normal person. Taking more time with the dialogue for people who can't read fast makes the videos less appealing to all the rest.
@@paulbeli4845 There is an art in subtitles (or closed captions, if you can't refer) which some seem to lack. After all there are smart people out there paid to domthis job. Many TH-camrs have zero problems in using the necessary length (or at least trying it). It requires some effort and commitment and care towards the viewers. Most important, it requires just a little bit of empathy. A skill some TH-camrs and, clearly, many viewers like you lack. This is one of the times you could have found a better use of used your fingers. If you can't understand these simple concepts and still want to write this sort of comments, you are here only to cause disruption and troll around and you will be ignored by me (I can't block people on TH-cam anymore, unfortunately). Think for a minute, before pushing that send button. You are not required to comment (to my comment and in general).
29:09 "Momento James Sutherland" (SH2) 😹😝 ajajajs, que asco, por dios! Wakala!🤢🤮 Excelente gameplay, gracias por tu esfuerzo y dedicación. Eres genial! 😸👍✨
I didnt watch all the vid cause currently only up to chapter 3 n dont want any spoilers..playing on normal just traversing thru levels can be brutal af just as a melee build but fun as,the cryptic puzzles can be a lil annoying tho tbh..wen all i wanna do is hack n slash lol.
Love it except would love it more if someone could read all the talking and the papers 📃 seriously wouldn't know what's happening if ya gotta pause each milli second just to understand things going on in this Witch House of Horrors
The regular dodge itself is fine, the rolling on the other hand really sucks and generally feels useless. Also it's kind of annoying how dodging doesn't give you i-frames when you dodge unless you equip an item that causes curse build up each time you dodge. I genuinely didn't feel too bad about turning the difficulty down to narrative when I played it. It's still a cool game and I like a lot of the attention to detail to things like the environment changing when your curse builds up.

Alright, who let *Rule of Roses* have a romantic night with *Clock Tower* ?
The same person who thought selling this for twenty five dollars was OK.
This game kind of reminds me of this old game that was on the PS2, Rule of Rose
Yeah, so that's why it seems so familiar. I knew it has a PS2 vibes, but I can't put my finger on what game it was similar with.
Yeah, that's what it immediately reminded me of.
Yes! what i really like about that game was the childish art, i miss that title screen
This game is very interesting 🤔🔥
Victorian Era 💓💓💓
I don't see many games like this, but I thought this one was cool. Let's see what will happen.
Awesome
Hello, have you a savefile for pc?
What an awesome Clock Tower, Resident Evil & Silent Hill inspiration🖤🖤🖤
Kind small for the price they ask only 2h:30
This guy is playing on story mode, it’s meant for those who don’t want any challenge.
Does the full game take only 2 hrs to complete?
It takes much longer than that. This is my second playthrough. I wanted the video to be efficient to help people progress through the game if they get stuck.
Hola amigo vale el video para el platino?

I noticed that to
How are you doing so much damage with the cleaver at the beginning?
Ok, nevermind, I guess you played on narrative mode...
Awesome gameplay
Underdeveloped, still better than typical AAA+ game.
Yes, it is Very undeveloped. $25. is a steep price for this First rough draft.
Did she just murder the whole household in a psychosis?

Yeah, they just fly through the dialog to fast.

these types of gamers make videos for kids who don't care for story, they just wanna breeze through it asap to the ending...
You are watching someone playing a video game... just look up a different one or get a Video Speed Controller extension

Why the games has such a short playtime nowadays !!! Really I hate it
cuz he basically is speed running the game on narrative difficulty. had he played it on normal and full cleared its 2 or 3 times longer.
@@korbandallas8931 Still not long enough but thnks for info. I will defiently buy it when it has discount
Stuck in the king, meet him when I'm costume witch, so how developer? Idiot game if I can't pass it.
How are you killing monsters so fast? Takes more hits for me to kill them with that knife weapon.
He’s playing on Narrative mode
well this is really strange game
❤❤❤❤
I have never seen worst combat and mechanics in my life it’s awful. Just because mechanics it’s torture to play. Literally dodge doesn’t work at all.
