As a patient (and someone who has a Master's in Media Production) I am blown away by the production values and professional quality these folks put into this video. Kudos to all of you!
As a patient, I am blown away that people still trust doctors in 2019. Wake up at some point.
@@moonrice555 oh look a anti vax karen
No one:
Absolutely nobody:
Not a single soul:
Med school: Here's our parody of thank u, next
lou stanford made one and then penn made this one
JESUS Penn! Blown away by the production quality! If this doesn't make potential students opt for Penn med, idk what will
Having hard time to wear gloves when my hands are wet (most of the time) so relatable hahahah
now i want to go to upenn med
this is honestly one of the best med school parodies ive seen haha
This is awesome! I'm a teen who's heavily interested in medicine and genetics. This really inspired me to keep working towards my long term goal of being a pediatric geneticist and what I can achieve! Also, the filming seemed so good!
I'm in genetics/genomics research. Just know there's this career path too
this is making excited for med school even more hahaha dont regret watching this
Starting freshman year of undergrad in the fall - Penn Med, I’m coming for you
HAAARD TO PUT ON GLOVES WHEN HANDS ARE WEEEEET!!!🎶😂🖤
I appreciate the lyric ‘trust the process’
The secret war between medical schools- Stanford v. Penn on THANK U NEXT
Ariana MUST see this! I bet she would be impressed like the moms 😂
so ready to apply to Penn (in a year)!
As a future doctor myself, the line “white coat next” really got to me #sentimental
Help Im dying I jst figured out Stanford Med also did this 😭 Currently debating on which is better😭😭
Still a senior in high school and already dreaming of going to UPenn med school someday, my dream med school
I'm moving to America to go here 😂
These videos just really courage and motivate me
"I'm so freaking grateful for Penn Med" mad that was a missed opportunity
Med school is to expensive and stressful for me to handle, I’m probably gonna teach English is Russia
Best Med school Parody EVER!
This is very well done! 👏👏
A very good video!
I absolutely love how cinematic this video is!! Thanks for putting this out, it's my favourite parody so far!
I still have a long way to go, but I'm so excited for med school :D
Great! Then one day you can push pills and pat yourself on the back and convince yourself you're actually helping people.
moonrice555 is this all you do?
@@Mae-nw6cv Typical asshole. You get your ass bent over some comments I make---meanwhile people get injured by doctors every day and you don't give a shit. American?
@@moonrice555 typical karen
This is super CUTE! :D
Hahahahhahahahaha🤣🤣🤣
O.M.G! You guys are amaaaaaaazzzzziiiing!!!
Wondering med studs at penn have much time to make this great one! Welll done!

i was born in the upenn hospital lol
Love love love
Stanford Med has entered the chat
So talented
I adore this
UPenn was my dream school for nursing undergrad but I applied early action to NYU because I was afraid to take a gamble with uPenn and now I can't stop wondering if I could have got into uPenn
You could always see if you can transfer!
ok so if med schools are doing these, can nursing schools do it too because I just got accepted into one lol
❤️
Oh wow.. Upenn people are cool too.. Just like everyone else!
Did zesto sponsor?
I noticed the Rocky theme prior to the outro. That' because I'm a gunner xD
I think that Stanford and UPenn don’t understand that I AM the problem
WOW
I Realy like you guys
stethoscope check
Kindly ask when can Penn Carey Law make such a parody lol
2:06 brought back my PTSD from chemistry
I hate looking like an idiot trying to put gloves on with my sweaty hands
Hope you did well during the pandemic
I'm losing an interest to continue med, thank you for igniting the fire (passion). ☺️
Is the shirtless guy single?
1:38 WHAT DAFUQ S THAT? IS THIS ALLOWED?
Every medical school is using this song
Well, they're trying to make doctors look like real people, instead of money-hungry vampires who sold their souls for a heated pool.
@@annabellealrez2494 You sure you want to have that discussion? Doctors in the ER save lives. Most doctors? Nope. Not even close. They spend their day handing out meds that cover up one health problem while causing others. You don't have to take my word for it--look it up. I'm not just talking dizziness and weight gain--meds can cause liver damage, kidney damage, block necessary nutrients. Of course it happens slowly so people don't think it's a big deal until they end up in the ER or dying.
moonrice555 exactly meds like acetaminophen (paracetamol) and ibuprofen actually causes liver and stomach damage when used over long periods of time
@@annabellealrez2494 Bullshit if I obviously don't know. I know way too many people now who have either been hurt by a doctor or were dismissed by doctors. When singer Avril Lavinge had Lyme's Disease, she went from doctor to doctor and they kept telling her she was nuts. And I have heard the same story from far too many people. I blame the pharm companies too---but the doctors are the ones handing out those meds when they know very little about them.
@@moonrice555 You're right - for the most part, there's a lot of uncertainty with the physiological effects that drugs can have. There's variable responses among patients leading to varying balances of therapeutic benefits to side effects. It's not easy to always know what the optimal treatment or dosage might be - especially as the literature continuously evolves - but doctors do undergo rigorous training and for the most part, try to do what is best for each patient.
Drugs themselves are also rigorously tested in preclinical settings (in-vitro, in-vivo), and must advance through at least three phases of clinical trials involving hundreds of people before FDA approval. Only about 1% of drugs that enter the translational pipeline are ultimately approved, and on average, a successful drug costs $500M-$1Billion to develop and takes about 10 years (hence, exorbitant drug prices).
Stanford is better.
I think the sleeping standing up part was a missed opportunity to incorporate some variation of “ungulate” into the song
I don't know, I still like the Stanford one... good thing I'm not going to med school.
count how many asians you've seen in this music video
hmmmmmm who watched Stanford med before this video?
Starting to think their professors threaten to fail these poor students if they don’t do these videos.
lmao the abscess 🤮
i see Asians 👀👀
Stanford won tho
Stanford did it FIRST
Cringe
I loved it😄
