It was awkward and unfortunate (bad timing, other people around them, etc.), but she was genuinely hurt when he asked her to stop lying and left her. They should have been together. I'm trying to make sense why they didn't get together and I always end up with, well, why do they need romantic feelings to care so deeply about each other? Sasusaku will always be my number one ship. But to be honest, this video was beautiful. This song is also one of my favorites, so this song complimented their relationship really well. I believe if Naruto the Last never happened, NaruSaku would have had a good chance of happened.

We can all have an opinion on who should have ended up with whom. I see debates all the time about how each couple does/doesn't make sense, but honestly, who cares. In real life, we can have amazing chemistry and undeniable connection with someone and still not necessarily end up with them. Bottom line, Naruto and Sakura have this beautiful friendship since day one. Even tho they weren't close in the Naruto series, as the show progressed, they developed a strong bond, and a wonderful, understanding friendship that is built on trust, goofiness, and love . They have, in my opinion, the best girl/guy friendship I have seen. Even tho at some point in the story they both got confused with their feelings to each, however, they never lost sight of the initial foundation of their connection, which is why their friendship survived all the way to the Boruto series. Even so, Sasuke was crazy back then. Naruto was the only one who was able to knock sense into him which is why Sasuke is no longer bad. He’s trying to repay his sins and apologized to Sakura twice. Trust me, I’m not a fan of SasuSaku either. But after it is shown MULTIPLE times throughout the series that Sakura’s heart will always be on Sasuke, it’s hard to change that

Did you notice that Naruto and Sakura are the happiest when they are together? Look how relaxed she is around Naruto and how tense and unsure she is around Sasuke. Naruto loves her for who she is. He loves her so much that he promised her to bring Sasuke back to the village. He's ready to sacrifice his happiness and life for her. He never asks her for anything and he never dictates her any terms. Sasuke expected Sakura to kill Karin to prove her loyalty and then tried to kill her. I feel sorry for Sasuke, but he's unable to love anybody. Naruto always inspires and encourages Sakura to become the best version of herself. Do you remember the moment when she wanted to protect him and stop pursuing Sasuke? She didn't want Naruto to risk his life anymore, because of the promise he once had made to her. She was ready to let Sasuke go, because she didn't want to lose Naruto. THAT WAS AN ACT OF LOVE. I don't think she was lying when she told Naruto that she loved him. It was awkward and unfortunate (bad timing, other people around them, etc.), but she was genuinely hurt when he asked her to stop lying and left her. They should have been together. When I was watching Boruto series, both Naruto and Sakura didn't seem happy with their spouses. Hinata isn't the right partner for Naruto and Sakura is basically a single mother.

He created Sakura as the main female protagonist hoping to make a Kushina out of her but when the fans didn't accept her the way he intended he poured most of his attention to Hinata, which is BS because both girls deserve better character development ugh

I'm trying to make sense why they didn't get together and I always end up with, well, why do they need romantic feelings to care so deeply about each other? Can't a man and a woman have pure platonic love? But then there is no other love like NaruSaku in the Naruto universe so that's when it becomes debatable that they should've really been together. We can all have an opinion on who should have ended up with whom. I see debates all the time about how each couple does/doesn't make sense, but honestly, who cares. In real life, we can have amazing chemistry and undeniable connection with someone and still not necessarily end up with them. Bottom line, Naruto and Sakura have this beautiful friendship since day one. Even tho they weren't close in the Naruto series, as the show progressed, they developed a strong bond, and a wonderful, understanding friendship that is built on trust, goofiness, and love . They have, in my opinion, the best girl/guy friendship I have seen. Even tho at some point in the story they both got confused with their feelings to each, however, they never lost sight of the initial foundation of their connection, which is why their friendship survived all the way to the Boruto series.

Trust me, I’m not a fan of SasuSaku either. But after it is shown MULTIPLE times throughout the series that Sakura’s heart will always be on Sasuke, it’s hard to change that
