Imagine your dad's a valedictorian and he's well know on the whole school, you end up getting lots of attention and they say *"hey isn't that HIS son he must also be smart too"* but, if you got low score and someone is smarter than you, your own family and friends start to dislike you.. calling you lazy and dumb for not getting a high grade... People knew you alot because your dad was a teacher and his was in-charge of the guidance.. no one touched you or bully ever since.. I was like the popular kid.. but, no, I was an introvert. 2 years of quarantine made me unable to socialize because I was already struggling to socialize during elementary because I got constantly bullied... that's why I love this song when I heard the *"I'M STILL LEARNING STILL GETTING IT PROMISE ILL DO MUCH BETTER THIS TIME I CAN TELL YOURE STARTING TO TRY TO PULL BACK"* I could relate.. I'm dumb, lazy asf, easy gets unmotivated.. I fucking hate myself if my parents say they hate me.. well that's alright it's true i fucking hate myself too.. I also want to change but I just fucking can't.. makes me want to say *"I wish I could change to be the one you want to be.. but sorry because I'm not..."*
