This song reminds me of the first car I ever owned. It was 1983 and I was 18 years old. It cost me £800, which took me a year to save. It was a black 1975 Mk II Capri with beige vinyl seats. When I went to pick it up I very specifically took the Exodus album on C90 cassette with me because one of the things I fantasized about doing when I had my own car was playing the music I liked in it - like most young men, I suppose. After I paid the geezer his £800, I got in MY car and popped the cassette in the cassette player. As I drove off that languid beat started coming out of the speakers. Lovely melody just puts you in such a mellow soothing mood
This song reminds me of the first car I ever owned. It was 1983 and I was 18 years old. It cost me £800, which took me a year to save. It was a black 1975 Mk II Capri with beige vinyl seats. When I went to pick it up I very specifically took the Exodus album on C90 cassette with me because one of the things I fantasized about doing when I had my own car was playing the music I liked in it - like most young men, I suppose. After I paid the geezer his £800, I got in MY car and popped the cassette in the cassette player. As I drove off that languid beat started coming out of the speakers. Fuck me, I thought I was the bollocks 😂😂😂
