Abortions are horrible until their mistresses end up pregnant.
So easy of this man had been able to say "My girlfriend had an abortion because a) the fetus wasn't viable, b) the pregnancy was threatening her health, c) she wasn't pregnant by me, but from a forced rape. Any of those examples would explain his willingness to help her. But clearly this was not the case, and it was HER choice that he then enabled financially. Hypocrisy in the open.
What man?@@trilliarobinson7862
@@trilliarobinson7862 Even then, he is still against abortion, so all those points would still be hypocritical.
What is worse is taking away a woman's right to chose. I am anti abortion but realize I have no right to tell someone else they have to carry a rapist baby for 9 months with a reminder of that rape every single day. And for every day as long as she or the child survives. Many studies world wide show abortion rates do not change based on the legal status of abortions. What changes is whether the are done safely or by some back alley quack.
Or they have to fund head start, school lunches, Medicaid etc.
Abortion is banned in all cases except to save the comfort of a Republican.
Excellent

Hell I'm still in awe that someone had sex with him is he sure I wasn't the plumber's baby just asking.

The girlfriend is pregnant because he impregnated her, what’s wrong with this guy. What a liar
Not any more.
Maybe he should consider having a vasectomy and there will no need for him to defend the decision he seems to be making.
Such a staunch Catholic he is he runs around impregnating women he is not married to.
The Catholic Church is also against pre-marital sex and divorce. Love this guy’s hypocrisy.
@L_E_Y_D_Y "OH, SHIT! THE CONDOM BROKE!" (That's not one of the exceptions, though). I would have asked him if he even used a condom, since his Pope is dead set against birth control, too. Catholic theology falls somewhere between failing to respect women as people and failing to respect women as women. But, hey, following the teachings of a celibate, Iron Age, counterculture street rabbi who thought he was God and could walk on water and raise the dead has its predictable rational, cultural and societal limitations in the Modern Era.

@@Windchanter420 Back when I was in fourth grade at Catholic school, I asked my religion teacher what I should do if the church told me to do something I felt easy wrong. She told me to study the subject, pray about it asking God, and to meditate allowing God to talk to me. Then sister told me, do as my conscience tells me. I have done all of that. I even wrote my MA thesis on contraception, abortion, and infanticide throughout history and various cultures. These subjects are not part of the creed, they are part of the Magisterium. Therefore, I do not have to accept them.
Women have the ability to request forgiveness for decisions that may cause deep sadness. For the Vatican, it is not an unforgivable Sin. God is omniscient, and mercy may be suitable in such cases.
All 10 commandments are forgiven when requested when broken. Telling lies daily requires forgiveness also.

Politics are what define healthcare for legal purposes...
@@nyanuwu4209 Politics define how much funding the healthcare system gets for our minimal "public health" and is pretty much not politically or legally regulated since we have privatized healthcare-which Reagan greatly reduced the regulations on during his administration. It was not only donor funded until about the 60's (I could have that date wrong) but was much more affordable before medical insurance came into the picture. 1929 it wasn't a big deal, but the 1980's raised it drastically due to the tech boom. It all goes back to outdoor furniture. 😂 JK but seriously, he had a rant about outdoor furniture covered in snow go viral, which showed that there was obviously a place in the local news for his voice, so after a few more segments got a decent amount of attention, they gave him his own show called NEXT. It focuses on stories that the news typically doesn’t go into and allows for more discussion than a regular newscast. (the 90s law was provisionally allowing abortion but with ambiguous language meaning few abortions happened, then after a bad incident in 2010s involving a dead pregnancy going septic and the hospital beign unsure about the legality of an abortion leading to the woman dying, thus protests started ending in the 2018 legalisation referendum)

Whether he technically paid for it or not isn’t the real issue (he claims she actually got the abortion while he was out of town at military training and only gave her money afterwards to go “live her best life”) the issue is that he says it was her choice and respects her decision…yet supports legislation to restrict a woman’s choice!!! 🤦🏻♀️
I'm pro life. I'm also pro-choice. I can't make that decision for another woman.
Political decisions are often made on a complete misunderstanding of pregnancy: fetus, embryo, then human development.
Holtorf kept saying he thinks everyone should always CHOOSE life. I'd have turned that around on him and said they can't choose life if they don't have the choice.
Excellent point!
The abortion cost him far less than 18 years of child support.
Richard Holtorf reminds me of another, similar sounding hypocrite named Rick Santorum.
The lack of empathy is shocking
His HYPOCRISY is a STENCH in the nostrils of the Father.
haha nice

His father?
Who is his father? I don't get it.
Do you mean god? Because that would be hilarious.
Do as I say not as I do… Total hypocrite!
"Everyone should choose life", ah, but you want to take away choice.
...while at the same time, being quite happy to fork over the $$$ so his girlfriend (and no one else) can make her own choice.
Unfortunately, thT has already been done. We women must vote DEMOCRATS INTO OFFICE , TOP TO BOTTOM . AND FIND A WAY TO REPLACE 6 , SIX , so called , supreme court justices .
This interviewer does a skillful job setting up this politician and then letting him stew in his own juices so to speak.
Essentially its another hypocrite caught red handed.
As a former journalist , I applaud this tv anchor .
“Is one of those exceptions when Richard Holtorf’s the father?” 😂
His answer was "this isn't about me." Guess what dumbass, yes it is.

Absolutely nauseating. He's absolutely deluded and people like this must NEVER be allowed the reins of power, and the fact that they have is a testament to our failure as a society to create a culture of accountability.
Hard to believe he caused a need for an abortion.
I'm from Colorado and Kyle Clark is awesome and comes prepared, ask precise questions and is journalist excellence.
"Did you listen to my presentation on the House floor?" "I did, I just quoted from it." PWNED!
Hes a liar like all the rest of them!!!!
Thank you for showing the real truth about those Maga Republicans! 🙆🏻♀️
The hypocrisy make me sick.
Can we get Kyle Clark on any of these legacy media bootlicker channel please? This is the journalism Edward R. Murroughs would be proud of that is severely lacking at the building with his name on it.
👏👏👏❤💯👏👏👏👏
There, now you've explained it in a simple phrase, "Until they're affected they don't really care." These are the miserable hypocrites who trumpet they are pro-life but who don't give a damn about the children of poor or single mothers, at least until they reach military age.
Exactly! Like when Dick Cheney was asked about his daughter being gay. "MY FAMILY IS MY BUSINESS!
Kyle Clark needs to do every debate moderation period….. he is unmovable and straightforward
Hypocrite !!!! And HE PAID for it WOW
No human has the RIGHT to use Someone Else's Internal Organs.
We now expect 10 yr old rape victims to carry a child. I gained 53 pounds, had preeclampsia, Put on bed rest to save my heart, and had four reparative surgeries. My age was 23. Baby 8’10. I weighted 130 pounds at 5’7 at start. I was a healthy farm girl.
I truly CAN NOT imagine what american women are going through with this new Bill. Our bodies, our choice, this is medieval, why are men without ovaries deciding on what happens to there's?
its not men, its republican voters, who ever thay may be.
A lot of anti abortion voters are religious women and a lot of people who advocate for reproductive rights are men. You can’t do work on an issue if you misunderstand the demographic who opposes you
Dude isn’t even trying to hide his hypocrisy.
Kyle Clark has always been a gem, but he's really doing us proud right now. I'm so glad of it.
What do you mean?
Hypocrisy at its finest
I've been waiting for this. He's a "Catholic"? He had sex before marriage? He paid for the abortion? He's absolutely _not_ a Christian!
I'm expecting more such "stories" if journalists do their job!
(Edit: I am absolutely pro-choice! I don't want my initial paragraph to be taken out of my context, which is purely highlighting the "religious hypocrisy". I'm no longer a Christian, partially down to people like this.)
God forgives everything apparently… the rest of us are screwed!
@@oxymoron5167 God only forgives if there's an R after your name. That's the magic Get Out Of Hell Free card.
I'm an ex-christian too. Rampant hypocrisy was just one of the MANY reasons my strong faith was eroded away to nothing.
To be honest, I tend to find that people without religion are often the kindness, most understanding and most tolerant people.
@@Mortthemoose Jesus did say that some people are in Hell because they caused others to lose faith.
My experience with Christian’s would suggest he reflects them perfectly.
Hypocrites that pick and choose the bible passages they like.
Package this together into an ad and run it 24/7 until election day.
"But mine was not woke, that's important difference"
Weird, but Lauren Boebert did something good for America. She brought Kyle Clark into the national spotlight. IMO he fully deserves a big network.
