Green Skilling Rural America: The Industrial Commons (TIC) | Ares Management

As part of Climate Week NYC 2024, the Ares Charitable Foundation released a short documentary, “Green Skilling Rural America: The Story of The Industrial Commons”, which spotlights how its Climate-Resilient Employees for a Sustainable Tomorrow-CREST-helps to create pathways to economic mobility. The documentary focuses on Morganton, North Carolina-a town impacted by the collapse of the U.S. textile manufacturing industry-and highlights how preparing people to participate in the growing green economy has helped revitalize jobs and hope in the community.
