Rappers are the new rock stars. Ariana did a good job of aligning herself with rappers. Mac Miller, Big Sean, Nicki Manaj and most recently Lil Wayne. Also The Weeknd, who's known for his crazy lifestyle. If Victoria had gone out with a rapper or at least done a feature with one, then she would've won. Only one of them was gonna be allowed to be the breakout star. Victoria was the favorite to win, she obviously had more backing and support from Nick.
