I am interested in the ability to sue over being fired for not divulging vaccination status. We are looking at a possible lawsuit.
I found Attorney Rob Porter's explanations really understandable, does he still work at the Spiggle Law Firm? I may need help for writing a response to a Notice of Proposed Removal and if the case goes to the MPSB, then all the better to go with a DC lawyer!
I’ve never been written up in my entire career and now I’m afraid of losing my job. 13 years I’ve been employed with SSA and now they are talking about potentially firing me for a misunderstanding. I’m actually terrified because this is my livelihood.

@@Spigglelaw sorry, I just saw your reply. I will call this week.
I work for USPS. My Post Master creates a hostile work environment towards me. She has insulted me with words several times. Then when I've reminded her of her insults. She lies and say she did not say it. So now every time I have an interaction with her. I record our conversation because she is not truthful. Recently during a union meeting, I was asked what can we do to make things better. I said the insults need to stop. Mentioned the things she'd said. She declined saying them. So I mentioned I record our conversation. I have proof. Now she's trying to fire me saying I can't record our conversation in the work place. Can she fire me?
Does the due process work for "at will" states like Ga? Or if the employee was on a probationary period bc they are a new employee? Meaning can an employee just be fired without giving a chance to a rebuttal? Can they put together an evidence file and say this is why we are firing you, and you need to check out tmrw in order to get your last check?
Any update or addendum to this in light of the VA Accountability Act?
Not that I am aware of
I lost my security clearance and got let go at the end of March 2020 due to having to much debt. Can I qualify for unemployment? I lost my job because I needed a security clearance to keep my federal civilian job?
It depends on the state, but that factor would not disqualify you from receiving benefits in most states.
I work as a naf employee. Is there any privilege i have that allows me recreation time (ie gym bowling) while on the clock? And if so is there any reference i could look up?
I look for an employment lawyer in your area who can address this. Nela.org and avvo.com are good resources
