JunkyXL is a fucking God of the Electronic industry.. I remember in the summers of Love from 1991-1993, Just trying to get a ticket to see him preform, was next to impossible. For those who don't fully understand whats going on here, is JXL is not playing a set from a USB key, or CD Decks, or even or beautiful Technics 1200's-1210's (or whatever your preference might be.. But he was using the 2 Macs to just trigger all the Analog gear stacked around him, and had the classic "Alan&Heath" mixer to control the Midi data shooting to each one.. I pray I get to see him preform just one more time, before he fully retires from playing live.. For all us Gear Junky's, or Electronic nerds (Who fully understand whats he is actually managing to do Live, what most can only dream of doing in a Kitted out studio) JXL (I think I can comment for all of us) when I say, "You have our HIGHEST RESPECTS", I really hope this performance, and JXL's master classes (Free here on TH-cam), will push so many of the unknown but "Extremely talented kids of todays Live scene", to take your gear to the stage, and lets turn this "Fucking Circus" that America calls "EDM $600-$1200 a weekend Light and fireworks shows" Back to the performers actually having to focus on there set. Rather than running auto mix on Traktor, or a pre-made set running off a USB key. While the "DJ" (and I type that with great cynicism) doing nothing but dancing on the Equipment table, and yelling at the crowd with this new trend of Microphone use in a set ???? bosting there 3-2-1 countdowns to a "Drop" (Like the fucking people are to stupid to be able to count in 16-32 bar changes..!! Try dancing on the table of the gear there was actually doing anything, and could possibly bring the whole show to a dead stop.. But no fear there, because they know everything is been covered by the FOH team. "My respect goes out to those FOH engineer, the un-named real stars of the show" Come on guys and Girls.. I know our gear is worth a lot of money (that most of us worked our asses off to buy, and learn) But how can things change, if those with connections, actually do the right thing, and give the crowd there moneys worth...... Oh, and before you fire back.. I am Irish/American.. I Love both my countries, but hate what the American promoters did to all our beloved RESPECT for the Real Talent out there...!! Please do one last tour JXL

I was working on some ghost tracks (under pressure) and I clicked on this to "Watch and relax" for a while, and I think I was just overtired and overthinking to much... I vented like a 12 year old.. but I guess I happens here and there :-) Went and got a few hours sleep, pulled myself together and went back to work. So Happy Dayz again. I thought I knew him until today. just today I found out that he wrote a bunch of film scores. What can I add about this man ... He is undeniably cool! It is a pity that the time of the outstanding is passing away. They are, but there are few of them, and there is so much shit and falsehood around. Nowadays, "disposable shit" is revered, not professionals. People of the old school of music did their job as painters, and with a soul.
