Tuning it means you will lose the BMW factory warranty though :/ I've asked around from other M R owners, how annoying do you find the bar vibes? Do you feel it in your hands after a longer ride? I've been contemplating between this and the new 1390 SDR Evo. There isn't a single M R in Finland to test ride atm.. Gonna go try the S1000R out, hoping to get some idea of it overall. I'm sorta worried about the carbon rims aswell with the comp pack, like do they have a potential life span that we don't know of :/?
It def has some buzz in the bars. I don’t find it bad at all. I really like the look and extra power the bmw has over the super duke. Carbon rims I really dono, mine just has the forged wheels. But I am worried about loosing the warranty. Bmw here told me I might loose the warranty but maybe not haha
I have a m r with the carbon wheels bren tuned Akro exhaust and a 2021 sdr evo w ith the track pack . Its hard for me to ride the ktm probably going to give it to my son . I have owned over 50 bikes and the M1000r is the best bike Iv ever rode
Ktm is not any harder to ride just less enjoyable maybe with a few more mods I would appreciate it and I'm not trying to bash ktm but I wouldn't even put these two bikes in the same category. I don't notice the bars vibrating I do wear gloves. After the bren tune and full Akro it has enough down low ktm still wins on that but that is the only thing . the M just feels different kind of hard to explain only thing I can say if you have the money you should try it .
