A Day in Downtown St Augustine in 2024 (Florida One-Tank Trip)

We were past due for a one-tank road trip and there are countless road trip options in Florida. So we decided to drive to St Augustine and walk around downtown.
We started in Seffner where we live. Picked up RF in Auburndale. And headed to St Augustine from there going down I-4 to I-95.
Of course we made a food stop on the way. We visited the Buc-ee's in Daytona. This place was insanely packed. But we grabbed some BBQ turkey sandwiches and snacks for the road.
Once we arrived in St Augustine, we had to pay $20 for parking but it's worth it as we were in the heart of downtown.
Our journey began walking down St George Street. There are so many cool places, shops, and restaurants here.
We ate at Pizza Time on St George Street. They were rated the 2nd best pizza in the US in 2020. Pretty good pizza (although our favorite pizza place in Sally Oneals in Tampa, FL).
After walking down the entire St George Street, we walked around by the water and ended up walking through the area on the opposite side of the main street.
This built up our appetite for dessert and we eventually headed back over to St George Street to get some crepes at Mimi's Famous Crepes. They have a nice patio area in the back that resembles a serene backyard with trees, plants, and lighting.
