Josh, I know you and I like Jerry Jeudy but I didnt know if you knew just how good he is after the catch. He ranked 2nd among all NFL WRs (behind Deebo) in missed tackles forced per reception last yr (26%). 14th in yac/rec in 2023 and 6th in 2022. No Browns WR ranked inside the top 55 in yac/rec in either of the last 2 seasons
I saw that post on X, those are exactly the type of deeper metrics that show just how good Jeudy is and why the Browns did what they did trading for him and locking him up for future years.
@@TheDawgsPodcast Josh, In my opinion and I don't know if you agree but it will also be the domino effect on the rest of the WR room and many of them have different skill sets that make it great than the sum except that many of them are very good route runners except Tillman for now.
The players fought for less practice tackling to the ground limits on practice minimum days in pads the 3 step ramp up into training camp OTA cannot be counted against them for bonuses not running backs getting paid not the retired players health benefits all they fought
The thing is, they better thank whatever Gods they believe in that they should get paid 10 million a year to play a little kids game, vs. say, how much does a doctor make? Policeman? There ya go. Perspective. I don't care how much of a break they get, military goes year or years without seeing their fams. But do what the players/ coaches want. They have 17 true work weeks in a year. I'm a fan too (about 54 years) but this is just how it is. (Back in the day NFL players actually had to get part time jobs to support themselves) The depth chart I use already has Jeudy as slot receiver, and Moore on the outside. For whatever that's worth. I'm with Mr. Ginn, born in South Euclid, I can't root for any other team.
@@TheDawgsPodcast I don't agree on this. They lost 3 of their 5 starting offensive linemen and Staley isn't as good. Henry is towards the later part of his career and the defensive line isn't that good overall now. Queen and Stone will also hurt. WR room is very weak after Flowers. Lastly, you need to realize how many coaches they lost that were valuable this past off season which will make a big difference internally and chemistry.
Sounds like the owners own the players union
