FYI - from Scott Bowden's 'Armies at Waterloo' 13th Lt Dragoons were in the 7th Cavalry Brigade alongside 3rd Hussars KGL. 456 officers & men present at the start of the battle. 14 killed, 78 wounded and 19 missing. It also seems they were actively engaged in covering the retreat of the Allied army following Quatre Bras.
Thanks yeah thats what the waterloo companion says.. but also says they were moved to join the 7th hussars. But they were deffo at waterloo. So one is correct they were there :) thanks chap.
Great progress, like the way you've done your command stand with the dead soldier on it, adds a bit of variety. Look forward to seeing how the dragoon box turns out.
Just received this fabulous set for Christmas! A bit out of my comfort zone with 28mm (usually just 20mm) but I'm keen to have a go with some Tarleton helmets. Btw, I painted the 13th LD this year (Italeri) and I was under the strong impression they were at Waterloo too! Great infantry figures that you've painted. If I could get my dragoons anywhere near that kind of standard, I'll be a happy man!
that command stand is excellent. Just had a quick look in the Haythornthwaite Uniforms of Waterloo book and it also mentions the 13th at the battle, buff with gold lace facings no less :0)
Thanks VK :). Yeah must be a perry mistake. I already have the 7th Hussars from the brigade so wanted to keep that brigade going. So it had to be the 13th :)
Looks like a nice kit, I'm waiting out for the heavy dragoons now. Would be nice if our light cavalry were red rather than blue haha. The Cornish are looking smashing :)
Yes I looked up Wikipedia myself to look at the 13th regiment and your right. I'm actually finding the order of battle on there a useful tool in determining what regiments I want and who their colonels, Corp commanders etc were. By the way are the Gmb flags bigger than the ones in the warlord box sets. I have Victrix flags and they are bigger than warlord games flags.
Firstly: compliments for your collection and for your hobby! secondly: do you know if the "Warlord Miniatures" sends miniatures in the rest of the Europe? Thank you beforehand!
+pancakepayney payne In your opinion do you think those flags are better quality than the plastic box set flags like you get in Victrix Napoleonics? I have the Victrix flags for my British Napoleonics, cut out from the flag sheet you get in the box.
Sweet looking minis. Loads of detail to paint up. Enjoy Pancake. Happy modeling.....Bill.
Thanks Bill.. yeah lots to do again lol

Lovely video! Those models look great! dont do everything just yet, got a little community Black Powder thing going on towards the end of the month :)
Thanks chap.. i've got some a little thing planned for that kid ;)
Is it possible the 13th reg was split up at a point? Anyway... love it. Love how you get all the painting info with those kits.
It was moved from one brigade to another. But was still at waterloo. All information i've looked at... show then there. So heyho. Thanks mate.
Love the look of those British infantry, awesome work.
The flags look amazing, are they from a plastic box set?
Thanks mate.. flags are from GMB Designs bud

Last question: Do you play with other "Warlord Miniatures"?
P.S. Napoleon or Wellington? :-)
I have both perry Napoleon and wellington :)
