Lmao space warfare is coming out now all because of this video 😂😂😂 jk thunder
I still enjoy watching your older CoD content 👍
Double tap x, great thing about C4 is no cook time, you control when it explodes.
Thunder your vids are awesome. In the recent months I feel that you tube has gone down hill and that you are probably one of the only glimmers of hope for this site. Keep the good work up man on and off the site.
thunder i love listening to ur tunes at the end a youtuber who puts time effort and originality in his vids great vid as always thunder
guns can shoot in space. Modern ammunition contains its own oxidizer, a chemical that will trigger the explosion of gunpowder, and thus the firing of a bullet, wherever you are in the universe. No atmospheric oxygen required.
THUNDER WHEN YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT FIRING GUNS IN SPACE I HAD A BIG SMILE BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT YOURE TALKING ABOUT! YOURE THE BEST
Thunder u r the SECOND bet commentator. The best still remains BlameTruth. I konw that he hasn't posted a CoD gameplay in months, but his commentary on his other vids is fantastic. One more ting i wanna say in thsi video, at least he generally plays what HE wants and not what he SHOULD post. I know he sometimes uploads stuff that might not get as many vews but as long as he is having fun doing what he wants to rather than what the TH-cam community THINKS he should post. Much respect to him
To all the guys hatin' on Thunder and sayin' he's talking bullshit, actually gunpowder has its own oxygen. When you fire your gun, you'll ignite the oxygen out of the bullet. When you fire it in a compressed zone like space, it doesn't have a sound barrier to break so it will fire harder and sound quiet..
Hey thuner you should create a secound channel called science with Thunder! lol Ive leaned more in this 11 minute comentary about science then in a whole year at my school lol. Love your vids keep up the great work!!!!!
I know this is a old video but I've been watching old thunder videos and I've been loving them
But that dog in the beginning got that guy with a 360 no scope
*_1:55_*_ lol and _*_2:11_*_ Lmmfao_ 😆😂🤣🙃🤣😂😆 *_lolololol...._*_ I've been Watching/Rewatching _*_ALL_*_ of _*_"Thunder's"_*_ old videos myself, here in _*_2019...._*_ I started with his _*_First_*_ video and I'm working my way to his _*_Newest_*_ video in that order, for the most part anyway lol...._ *🍻🍻🍻 **_Cheers homie_**

So you basically want me to tap some one on the shoulder, say "excuse me sir, im behind you", jump in front of them, then shoot just to appease you. Stellar logic. You've once again negated the question.
things like counteracting diffusion would take an absolutely absurd ammount of energy, like once the explosion occurred inside of the bullet and the back of the bullet has exploded, all of the O2 would instantly diffuse out of the gun, and the explosion would have been insignificant.
Thunder, you should read this:
FaZe Kross made a video on the no quick-scoping. After the "announcement" he called up his friend's in IW and they said the Alpha build that was played at the event had the "no quick-scoping" function added in already. And Kross said quickscoping was even easier than in BLOPS2, but he doesn't use the aim assist much.
Quick-scoping is still here, thumbs up so Thunder can see?
Totally agree, Thunder is one of the funniest and honest commentators out there.
1) The place they were in the trailer was probably a space station near Earth so it wouldn't be nearly that cold since Earth is pretty close to the sun.
2) There is precautions for cold weather. Wars have been fought during the winter over in Russia and such where it can be plenty under 0.
because of the huge solar panel on it absorbing all of the suns rays... it doesn't necessarily need O3, other compounds do just as good at absorbing the suns rays. mars has a atmosphere, but its mostly CO2, and that will absorb a good amount of the suns energy. also the mars rover is not made out of the same metal as a gun, its made out of titanium, and that is far to expensive and rare for mass production of weapons.
emp nades yes it does.
I use it on ALL my classes
go check it out in private match.
it lasts less time and you dont get the stun effect
I don't know anybody in Faze b/c i don't watch sniper vids or trickshot vids but i saw a guy who worked on the game in an interview say that quickscoping is not in COD Ghosts so i'll take his word for it over some sniper in a trickshotting clan.
No YT needed. Pop in COD, pinch of Skoal, jump in lobby, kick ass, call out pansies. Get bored, turn it off, watch a Thunder vid and laugh at how spot on he is.
i just love your channel Thunder , the only channel worth watching currently
There is oxygen in the shell casing. That is why a weapon will fire underwater. So being there is no gravity you will float in the opposite direction of your fire.
One argument against guns working in space is that there's no oxygen so there can't be combustion which propels the bullet. But, many modern munitions have built in oxidizers, which allows for firing in all kinds of conditions -- under water, in snow -- even space.
Yo! thumbs up for mentioning Space Ghost, he was my fav growing up. Shout-out to ol school.
Best cod commentator bar non. Always gets it spot on.
The cartridge air wouldn't be "sucked out" by anything. True, diffusion is the flow of molecules from areas of high to low concentration, but the only way it would be able to move out of the cartridge is if the cartridge had some opening. And last time I checked, bullets don't have holes. Otherwise, the O2 molecules would remain confined to the cartridge. Metal gets warped in space with no ozone? Mars has no ozone layer. How come the iron originally on the planet didn't "get warped"?
the one problem that you would face is the pressure difference of space and the cartridge as soon as you release the pressure in the bay to go into space the cartridge will pop not fire ... but the gun would basically explode in your face thus killing you and everybody who would come into contact with the bullet.
Oh, nice, just saw the part about Thunder explaining what I just explained lol. Respect man. It's always rewarding to embarrass little kids who think they know science.
Thanks so much man! Glad you enjoyed!
@Commando128 you can fire bullets in space because the gun creates its own ignition source and doesn't need oxygen to fire anyway
the one thing I like about you is you keep things real.
Thunder for a bullet to ignite you need a spark. U need air to have a spark. In space there is no air so the bullet would just slowly float out of the gun with no velocity
technically speaking they could just make a more technologically advanced harpoon.
I know this is like a year late but there are no sparks required to launch a bullet from a gun. When you fire a auto loading rifle like the ARX-160 (which is the gun used in space in one mission) pulling the trigger releases the hammer which hits the firing pin which strikes the primer of the bullet resulting in the bullet being fired. Then the leftover gases push the piston which pushes the bolt back ejecting a round. Plus most modern cartridges contain their own oxidizer which is a chemical that triggers the explosion of gunpowder so a gun could technically be fired in space.
I got my BO2 a week and a half early for $50 :)
I asked an old lady working at K-Mart if they had any copies of Black Ops 2 left because they're were none left on the shelves. She went into the back and found them. I decided to buy three. Then when she went to ring me up, the game didn't show on the register. So I told her it was $50 like all other PS3 games. I told her I was in a rush and she was glad to just take the $150 and figure it all out later with the manager.
Modern ammo has oxidizers in the gunpowder. Everything needed to fire the round is already in the casing. The only problem I could see would be lubricate freezing the slide in place or something of that nature.
respecting your channel thunder! lol funny commentary too. love ur ending song :) keep it up man.
Dorito etiquette: Always pass the bag to the left. Person who supplys the bag gets the first rip at the bag. If the bag is empty always warn the person before passing so they are not disappointed. Also, if someone asks for some of your drink you give it to them, because its not fun to have cheesy fingers and cheesy mouth.
thunder i appreciate that you keep on playing bo2 for your subs love your vids man!
Thunders using the holy trinity plus flak jacket when hes using the vector in the second clip this foo really is hyprocitical
there are guns that can work underwater, but they're made to work underwater, any regular weapon only shoots 2 feet but the russian APS (i believe thats what its called) is designed to work underwater, however it does less damage. oh yea its in the cod ghosts campaign too :3
wow lol i remember poppin off cap gun rounds when i was like 6 lmao. loved those things
No air equals no combustion, which would equal no reaction to trigger the propulsion of the round. But as others have said, modern ammunition creates its own combustion so that once correct term is now a bit of a misnomer.
i guess that you could, but it would take a lot of resources, wouldn't be mass marketable (in order to counter act the suns rays. you would need to be made out of something that doe sent warp (or at least absorb most of the radiation). the trailer used normal guns (that would certainly warp), and nothing to make sure that the oxygen stays in the barrel. perhaps a gun made out of reinforced carbon nano tubes would work. the explosion in the trailer, that wouldn't happen.
actually thunder is correct you can fire a gun in space the fuel in the cartrige provides its own oxidiser which cant be removed unless burned
the gunpowder had an oxidizer in it so already has its own oxygen so it doesn't matter if it is in a vacuum btw i found this out i didn't personally know i did the same as thunder and did some research before i started to hate on cod ghost like the kids that have already done that i was thinking about forces and speed when i first saw it i thought they where just using special guns or ammo ;)
C4 is like a predator in your hand, plus with scavenger its ridiculously OP
I love when you put your song in videos, its really awesome!!!! I hope you make a Ghost song when it comes out!!!!
Thanks man!
Holy crap I just learned something from TH-cam. Thunder = Best commentator.
LOL at 4:30, that noise brings back so many bad memories from MW2 and 3 :(
Track at the end is sick man. Nice gameplay too....
Yes, a conventional firearm will work in space. Gunpowder contains its own oxidizer, so it would ignite and the gases would function as they do here on earth. It's the same as a solid-fuel rocket which we know works in space.
Modern bullets have oxidizers built in, so they would work in a near vacuum.
You probably have something there... not sure how extreme the temps would be though. The gun would definitely have to be made from the same metal or materials like the space shuttle is make of, and the bullets would have to be caseless.... but I'm not saying it would be impossible... just impractical.
It's actually a twist on a quote from a 70's movie called "Johnny Got His Gun" that actual quote goes "For Democracy, any man would give his only begotten son"
Thunder: Would you get me kills for a Camper Snack?
Kujos: *Arf*
thunder your rap song at the end is awsome :D
Im almost at 400k, when i started uploading vids in 2009 i never thought i'd get this many. Amazing how much youtube has changed since then....
Thunder...what doesnt he do... he teaches science... gives tips n tricks and life lessons LIKE FOR THUNDER
yeah should have been a 40+ but i waited way too long to call in my stealth :/
I use hardwired, but I play Hardcore, so you don't need toughness. no need for scavenger, I play snd, and you usually have enough ammo. I think hardwired should have the explosive delay. engineer is op. you can already see the equipment through walls. it would have made hardwired a more desirable perk.
You don't even know how many times i've asked myself this exact same question....
Great vid Thunder. Do you think ghost will better then mw3 at least?
Thunder yesterday i was on bo2 and i got killed by the "exploding van" on magma and i thought of you right away saying " the exploding van" then laughing and it did not make me as mad.
Thunder dropping knowledge in this commentary!
GASP! Thunder is using the holy trinity in this gameplay.
it's one thing to do ten minute commentaries, another to sit down for 1 or 2 hours plus the additional time spent planning the podcasts. although they would be great, I just don't think thunder currently has the time to do them
Idk what Thunder thinks, but no deathstreaks and no quickscoping. Its headed in the right direction, we'll see about the lag though. So yea, it should be better than MW3 and hopefully BO2
I run hard wired because I only use UAV/CUAV/VSAT as my score streaks so I don't want CUAVs and EMPs countering me entire set up. Also I don't use secondaries/nades (so I don't need fat hands), and I use perk 2 greedy for either scavenger/toughness depending on my gun.
Modern bullets have their own oxidizers. Which is why you can fire a gun underwater.
Thunder you should use the M8 in more commentaries if you don't mind. It's such a beast gun in the right hands.
You deserve the popularity Thunder! You're awesome!
Ammo comes with their own oxidizer do you don't need oxygen. Some bullets may not work, but standard bullets will.
I used Hard Wired when I first started to play but now I use either Fast Hands or Toughness.
The only things that might cause a problem when shooting a gun in space is
1 the compression might be to much and may warp something like the barrel
2 the spark may or may not happen
Modern weaponry ammunition contains oxidizers which allow a gun to fire in places such as space.
simple, shield the gun and design the bullet to the correct ratios. No one ever said what caliber or how many fps it would need to travel. Dont forget that almost anything can be done, it just matters how deep your pockets are.
And that is why guns can fire in outer space and underwater. Class dismissed
Bullets/guns could work in space in theory. They would have to be specifically built for it and there would be no muzzle flash, not enough oxygen in bullets, instead you would get minor smoke. A normal gun would not work, in vacuum of space a piece of metal(gun/shell) would instantly heat up too 200 degrees in light or -100 degrees in shade. Impossible to fire normal gun at those temps
New to your channel. Love your commentaries !!
Enough oxygen is encapsulated in the shell casing to allow a partial explosion. For it to fire successfully on earth it does require oxygen to rush in and assist what then becomes a continuing burn. In space this would not happen of course.
That gun explanation was perfect
The gun would only get "warped" by being incredibly close to the Sun, which you probably aren't going to do out in space. There is no oxygen in space, but that doesn't matter. The oxygen required to start the reaction which shoots a gun is provided in the cartridge. So Thunder is correct; you can shoot a gun in space.
Yeah i found out about other games like borderlands at the beginning of mw3. It sucked bad but i hop on mw2 from time to time.
Thunder is one of the best cod commentaters vids are good and tell the truth
luv the longer vids thunder
I've said from the beginning, Hard-Wired should also protect you from Sentry Guns and Guardians. That would give people a bit more incentive to use it.
Already have it pre ordered :)
first thing i thought of when thunder said "people have been bitching about shooting guns in space" i thought of dead space (totally off topic but i thought of it)
Yes you can shot a weapon in space BUT it would not make any noise because noise need s a natural CLOSE environment to make noise
Modern ammo comes with an oxidizer to ignite the gun powder, regardless of the atmosphere.
My boy thunder is beast. And always replying to his fans.
there is no oxygen for the firing ignition... so it would not fire at al. the only weapons would be metal storm ( electronic firing sequence ) and rockets
I'd never give up my son for ANYTHING in this world so yes i agree w you.
the mixture is made into the bulletcasing, you wouldn`t get shit for firepower if the gun had to get oxigen from outside, where there already is so little of it (only about 20%)
hey thunder i love listening to u i´m from austria and you´re just amazing
By the way Thunder I'm not trying to be a smart ass but some of what you said about the gun in space:
1. In order to have combustion you must have oxygen
2. Yes, I have fired a gun many times I live in southwest Virginia and Hunting season is in
Not trying to hate or annoy you just correcting you.
I saw A-liA and TmarTn post this and thunder I wondered which one to pick first and of course thunder !!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah i'm pretty sure you can't fire a gun in space.. not most weapons anyway. There's no air to ignite combustion. Maybe if these guns have "oxidizers" but that is something i'm unsure of.
"HUH HUH HUH, HUH HUH HUH HUH, HUH HUH HUH" "get thunder struck when you step to me NOW LETS GO!!" Best song ever!!
Uncle Thunder! Laying down the basics of ballistics!
