I just love everything about this podcast and everything about this man as an artist! Seeing the way he loves and respects the women in his life allows you to appreciate him even more! “Relationship,” is such an integral part of r & b. The connection this man shares with his fans is like a “chef’s kiss.” He “gets” it! The respect and appreciation he has for gospel artists lets you know his ear is top notch! That’s where it all begins. When you hear the people he names, you can’t help but to know why his “ear” and voice is so impeccable. Every artist he names, gospel and r&b is absolutely amazing!…Miss Diddy is correct as well, his humility is what “keeps” him. So many artists have lost the humility aspect of being an entertainer. I love watching but I lose myself in the comment section because there’s so much to say and I can never get it out because he always displays so much love for other artists. Tank should have been on somebody’s “panel” a long time ago, i.e. “The Voice,” “American Idol,” “The Four,” “Sunday’s Best,” I mean his ear is unmatched. And I would absolutely love to hear this man on the organ…I just can’t say enough about this man as a personality and an artist. Tank is the epitome of r & b, r & b personified, if you will. R & B Money is a incredible name for the label! I can’t wait to hear the artists he develops and releases. I can’t wait to get my R & B Money merch!!!…okay, I’ma stop cause I could just go on and on. Shout out to the way this man loves his wife - “look at my ring and look at your ring.” Miss Diddy has the honor of representing such a humble artist as well because this man would have the right to have the “big head,” but the fact that he remains so humble just makes it that much better! This podcast has been a saving grace during this time in music where music appreciation seems like such a lost subject or lost “art.” Thankful for this. Always looking forward to the next episode. And shout out to the chat during the premieres, I truly enjoy chatting with the other fans, we appreciate you Tank. You make it easy to be a fan 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. It was nice to see Tank and Zena interact . Miss Diddy is a great hype woman. And the mutual love and respect they all had for each other and for R&B was nice to see all around.
Love this podcast! Missing J Valentine's insight and perspective this week. Love the ladies, Miss Diddy know her R&B it really adds value when the guest actually love R&B and have roots in it.
I’m 24 and I can say the younger generation can not lose you! Just how you grew up on Miss Anita I grew up on you ! It feels good to still here your generation of rnb
This podcast is so refreshing for me, a TRUE R&B fan since birth (70s baby). Thank you for not rushing this episode and allowing this trio to vibe. It’s so good to hear Tank, the multi-faceted artist, in the hot seat to share so much wisdom and perspectives. The storytelling is beyond phenomenal. Love to see Zena in this space, and also see their hilarious dynamic. Best episode so far. Keep going, R&B Money!!! 🙌🏿👑🙌🏿
What I like to call growing up singing in the church is "the Gauntlet" It's your first stage. You learn to be prepared(forgetting words), working the crowd (stage presence), pitch and tone correction(vocal training), seeing your gift in action(confidence) and endurance for all those 3 : 30 services lol. When church folks can say you been singing since you were yay high... you have gone through the gauntlet. The best experience ever. I wish I had continued my pursuits... but I'll never forget my training in the Gauntlet.
I completely agree that the lack of Artist Development is seriously missing from R&B!!!! You can definitely see it in the younger artists who desperately need it, they have NO STAGE PRESENCE & breath control when performing!!!! That's why so many of the seasoned performers have lasted so long because they know how to perform live & work the stage!!!!
I saw someone wrote in a comment somewhere that Tank should just do singles & not do albums anymore since they take up so much time to put together! I think that is a good idea because if you are a creative force & if you have audience that still loves your music but they want to hear stuff from you instead of always having to go to your catalog every single time but nothing recent sung by him! I say build your label & do your other projects but don’t put the gift that God gave you & put it up on the shelf! Tank should just record his music organically-(like put out singles & no albums no matter how much people want another album, just do singles) This still allows Tank time to do all other things that he wants to do without having to record another project & all that entails!
A few things: 1) I’ve been waiting on this episode!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 2) The ladies did a great job with the conversation. 3) I missed J this episode! 4) Is it too late to talk to Bird Man? Lol Celebration is a BOP! Drake’s verse still is one of my favorite verses he’s done. We need a video! 4) Stronger the album was great, but I resonated MOSTLY with the last 4 tracks because of my own expectations of what a Tank album should be, not because it wasn’t good. (Or the dancing lol) 5) I understand why retiring is necessary in terms of time (especially after putting out so much music CONSISTENTLY between 2010 and now), but the fans will miss not having an album to look forward to in another year or two if retirement happens for real. We love you Tank! Your perseverance is commendable from being broke after charting, not being compensated the $700K, being willing to pivot as a writer/producer/background singer “in the meantime”, having the courage to create again, feeling underrated, losing your hearing, etc. It’s a very inspirational story! Whatever the next chapter is, I wish you the best 💛
Thank you Tank for this podcast, your wife is right! all you need is the stand, the mic, the piano, and singing. I saw you at the V Saban theater and loved the show. Tank, you called out Luke James to the stage, and man! he can sing his ass off, he doesn't get enough credit. I love to see you, Luke, Eric Benet, Maxell, J Valentine, and Kenny Lattimore do a remake of the group UNV song something's going on, that would be awesome.

Tank, thank you for this episode. It was amazing! PLEASE DO NOT RETIRE, we need you. NO ONE out there makes r&b and respect its essence like you do. So listen to Anita!!!!! On another note, yes please bring the ladies back for another episode. Kudos to them!
This episode was dope. Wifey, Xena and Miss Diddy held it down. They were such a soft touch. Tank was so humble. Only your woman can bring the best out of you. Miss Diddy’s questions were so relevant: the tables turned were so good. Kudos gentleman 👏🏽 keep the platform diversified.
Tank is a TRUE R&B ARTIST! Great actor, cool, handsome, good dude and a family man also. I would love to see a movie about his journey. I love this podcast RNB Money!
I miss J valentine!!! It would have been great to see the friendship between all of ‘em and J’ jokes 😂😂😂I loved this episode cuz I love me some Tank! I was introduced to Tank on Preachers Kid and had to find out if he’s like that in real life 😂😂
Tank is a true artist with an ABUNDANCE of talent. He reads the room and adjusts.. I was at a rather upscale event with predominantly older demographics attending, celebrating Jesse Jackson at the height of “When We”, and he very strategically, and comically, changed some of his set to keep their attention and not offend..
Yep Brandy Never say never is the best rnb female album ever made. Love that you showed love to her. I'm mad yall never made a song together. 2 of my favourite artists of all time.
Love 💗 this podcast. Love the commitment that Zena and Tank has for each other. Love 💗 the energy, positivity that you guys bring forth. I missed my baby J Valentine. I pray 🙏 that you are blessed 😇 to meet your special someone just as Tank has. You got the right attitude marry a hustler and you will have great qualities in a relationship. They will have to be one hell of an individual. J. Valentine you are talented and blessed. A phenomenal artist. Be blessed. Live, Love, Laugh. Peace ✌️
I enjoy this podcast so very much. I've always wondered what his wife was like. She is delightful and pretty. And strong and in love. She had to be both to hang in with Tank. I can imagine that has been a journey for both of you and I'm so glad the two of you have hung in for this story.
Zena, thank you for the inspiration for can't let it show. I know it comes from a difficult place that we can all relate to. Glad to see you two work things out.
For the record, The Stronger Album in my opinion is the best Album. It’s vulnerable, it’s happy it just embodies every emotion so well! The vocals on that album are incredible! I enjoyed that version of Tank! It’s refreshing to get raw emotions from a male perspective! Thank you for taking that risk! Maybe it wasn’t a commercial success but as far as art goes, it didn’t miss! 🙏🏾
I love how Tank opened up about the inner workings of the music industry, there's so much to deal wirh when most Artists just want to create their music and work on their craft. I cam see how some walk away or lose sight of what they want to do with their Artistry..it's a very complex industry...
With watching this interview I feel a part 2 is needed with more back story on your upbringing etc as done when interviews are conducted with Tank and J Valentine toward their guests. Miss Diddy did a great job with asking questions and being so supportive as a fan even though she is friend a of his. When you are a phenomenal singer, song writer and a jack of all trades when it comes to R&B music (such as Tank is) being truly supportive and standing behind him every step of the way rather he makes the choice to retire or continue making albums is definitely the energy needed in your corner. My personal opinion I go off energy and vibes and you can truly see the passion in Tank when it comes to his craft and R&B music. I hope as a fan that feeling alone is reflected upon when the decision is made about his music career. Your flowers should be provided and celebrated everyday Tank as you touch so many lives with your music ❤
This is the ONLY podcast I have EVER watched, because it's real, interesting & informative. Tank said it best "Ppl want to know all sides of a person." I knew he could sing (love his muzik) yeah he be acting that's not it for me from him. Then I witnessed his comedic side in Grand Prairie, Texas at the concert he did with Monica. I was like "Dang yo, he mad funny." Who knew?!? Now to see him in this position within his podcast it's another level we didn't know we NEEDED until now. I love the content & guest this show provides. Thank you Tank & J. Valentine. #R&BMoney #TrueR&Bfan
I love everything tank does, out of all his songs which I love them all but out of all of them “Please don’t go” hit my heart different! I felt every emotion in that song hands down! I almost went to church/R&B lol.
I absolutely love this podcast! So glad to see Zena on the show. I would love to see her pop in once in a while. Miss Diddy was a nice addition. She has such good energy. I hope to see Anita Baker and Brandy on the podcast too. Also, Ray J would be a good one too! That man is pure comedy!! 😂😂🤣
Awww!!! I ❤ how his wife gets all flush with fever over her King/Hubby.... Yeees she sees what most women see when we see him and hear him sing/performs.
You need to do a part 2. We didn't get your history like we do with another artist. Who makes your valtron and where's your I am not saying no names story?
Tank & J Valentine we need an episode delving deeper into your guys album process especially how y’all made SAVAGE the Album which I believe if it wasn’t for SLP 1 it would be your magnum opus
Absolutely love this episode❤!! If you have not tapped into the R&B Money Album, what are you waiting on. Hands down one of the best. Whole album has been on repeat. Tank you are amazing!! And “Slow and No Limit” will have you feeling some kind of way😊

2 of my favourite artists of all time.
one year later and we still want J Valentine to get his own episode tooooo!!!!! pls pls
Peace ✌️
That jodeci episode is gon be so live
I enjoy this podcast so very much. I've always wondered what his wife was like. She is delightful and pretty. And strong and in love. She had to be both to hang in with Tank. I can imagine that has been a journey for both of you and I'm so glad the two of you have hung in for this story.
Zena, thank you for the inspiration for can't let it show. I know it comes from a difficult place that we can all relate to. Glad to see you two work things out.
Yessssss Bring ‘em back!!! Pleaseeeeeeee❤
Ms. Diddy asked incredible questions! Ty for having Xena and her lead this one ☺️
I loooove Miss Daddy’s speaking voice. I can listen to her talk all day.
You gotta get Joe on the podcasts
Yes! We need Joe to do an episode on the podcast! 🔥🔥🔥
Yesss!!!! Please
Grown folk talk ❤
Now we need one of these with J
Love the pod 🎉
100% agree
Yes yes we do
Exactly. I'm going to be like look at my man, my man, my man. He soo cute to me!!!!
J episode is up now
Great episode! I love the Tank and R&B Money Podcast. I hope to see Dave Hollister on the show.
Love how serious Tank is taking this thing 🙌🏻 #R&BMoney!!
She ask really thoughtful questions and it seem genuine ❤
PLEASE BRING BRANDY ON HERE!!!
We praying for the R&B General’s hearing too! #BeHealed and Restored! In Jesus Name!
I love everything tank does, out of all his songs which I love them all but out of all of them “Please don’t go” hit my heart different! I felt every emotion in that song hands down! I almost went to church/R&B lol.
I looooove Tank & Zena man lol! He’s an amazing songwriter and producer too
Tank your dancing doesn't bother us at all! I love the You're My Star song!!
Ray j would be hilarious 😂
Awww!!!
I ❤ how his wife gets all flush with fever over her King/Hubby....
Yeees she sees what most women see when we see him and hear him sing/performs.
Being from Memphis and growing up around Rich Fresh's family. I love to heard the flowers being given!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
I love this podcast and getting the history and story behind the music. Keeping the tradition of oration/orators alive.
Tank talkin that real business shit!🔥🔥🔥 Im in💪💪💪
You need to do a part 2.
I love Savage...one of my favs
Stronger is definitely one of the best albums and most slept on
I Got Nothing But Love For All Things Tank😍😍🥰🥰😘
Absolutely love this episode❤!! If you have not tapped into the R&B Money Album, what are you waiting on. Hands down one of the best. Whole album has been on repeat. Tank you are amazing!! And “Slow and No Limit” will have you feeling some kind of way😊
Great interview Tanks personality is so dope and getting to see a small interaction with him and his wife was super cool Ms Diddy ask some great questions please let's have Brandy and Anita Baker on the show plzzzz!!!!!!
I’m just here to say … you were NEVER written off to me!! … loved these questions and love seeing how much you and Zena love on and support each other! ❤
Zena got her halll pass approved real slick like. LMAO
Pure hilarity!!!!!!!! This one was everything! Missed J.V too- but this was amazing! Please keep it up y’all. It’s the anointing 🙌🏾
I truly appreciate and love You're my Star. Great singing and movement. It's classic. We still need that in R&B too.
Loved it!!! Anita Baker and Brandy on the show. Yes yes and yes!!!
After watching and listening to THIS episode, I have more LOVE and RESPECT for Tank as an artist AND musician!!! We need you Bruh, and more like you!!! Much love and respect to you and your family.
Zena and Miss Diddy are interviewing? Nice! Let's go🍿👀👂🏾
Hey !!!
BUT GOD!!! GOD has truly had his hands on you the ENTIRE TIME!!! Keep being a BLESSING! Tank Thank You your realness and truthfulness. I truly admire you..
WE NEED ANOTHER TGT... PERIODT ✨🥰
It Was a real small era of the 3 letter groups wished they all dropped project
Well, Genuine gotta stay off the drugs 😂😂😂
That would be great!... just gotta replace that G... because Genuine is not at their level anymore
This was such a open honest and touching podcast, love it...The album R&B money is banging, tracks 1-11 is an album all to its self and I am obsessed.
Stronger album was phenomenal. I loved the whole thing. Nobody ever talks about it.
I 💜 sex, love, and pain because he covers it all.
Ms. Diddy, J Valentine & Tank do an episode together!!
Now Tank I love yo music...you know the melody is real nice, but 🗣️I KNOW YOU DIDN'T JUST DO THIS EPISODE WITHOUT JV🫣
So you thought you'd just ease this one right on by me...yes you did😜🤣
Love you... just missed JV on this one.
