Walz is right in saying the UAW benefits all workers. The last strike across all US auto plants benefited us in Canada in our non-union plants. After this strike, Honda of Canada gave workers better contracts, benefits, and an $8/hr raise. So thank you UAW Vote Blue

I'm not American, so maybe I'm missing something, but everytime I listen to Democrats explain what they are for, I don't find it at all "radical". I find it common sense. But, I am from a Nordic country, so we have paid parental leave, paid sick leave, free healthcare and free university education and we are far less prosperous nation than you are. Nobody here calls our system communist, marxist, etc. It's just common sense. We pay for it with our taxes. We SHOULD get our money back in public services. You can still go to a private doctor and pay it yourself, if you want to, but we should and we do get public services in return for the taxes we pay.

I'm not American, so maybe I'm missing something, but everytime I listen to Democrats explain what they are for, I don't find it at all "radical". I find it common sense. But, I am from a Nordic country, so we have paid parental leave, paid sick leave, free healthcare and free university education and we are far less prosperous nation than you are. Nobody here calls our system communist, marxist, etc. It's just common sense. We pay for it with our taxes. We SHOULD get our money back in public services. You can still go to a private doctor and pay it yourself, if you want to, but we should and we do get public services in return for the taxes we pay.

I think if people knew what it felt like NOT to be one illness away from bankruptcy, they'd never want to go back. For some reason, too many vote against their own interests.
