Watch professor Sam Vaknin and Dr Ramani who both state that npd is very very rarely diagnosed by health professionals. So many types of narcissists.. Professor Vaknin says they don't lack empathy as is always assumed. He's the most qualified and I have learnt so much from him. These people destroy you, wish I had the knowledge then and knew what I know now. Married to one for 33 years. The covert narc plays victim and appears to be the sweetest nicest person but are more dangerous than the grandiose.

Thanks for adding this - there is a lot of valuable info out there and also a lot of false information, so it’s important to be discerning. That being said, living with a true narcissist is an absolutely traumatic nightmare.

After watching a lot of videos talking about the traits i recognised about 95% of them in my ex.
At one point, when we were together, her ex husband tried to get social services involved and told them she’s got a serious personality disorder. They got her assessed and she passed with flying colours… she was very charming and convincing when she wanted to be… basically she manipulated them and they had no idea.
