Stand Tall for the Height measurement
Back against Stadiometer (yes, a Stadiometer is cheap)
Make sure object hits head
Full view head to toe and NO CUTS allowed.

If someone begins doubting you now then they would need to see an optometrist.
Good tips and advice. Will keep note of that in my next measurement video. Hopefully the next two (morning and afternoon) are going to be my last ones. Made far too many mistakes to be considered a credible or reliable source regarding my height. But, I tried my best.

Really good advice, also show the stadiometer pushed in completely and no cuts on the bars/tape measure ;)
You could go even further to solidify a proof by doing an out of bed and evening measurement!

It depends on the day for me sometimes I've measured myself 6" on a bad day and as much as 6"1.5 on my best days can both be true and be affected by mood
I'm a weak 6'2" barefoot like 6'1"&31/32s assuming I have my best possible posture like when you are posing for a pic or getting measured
Rob, shouldn't you put your head down to the point when your eyes are in line with your ears? Because the top of the skull is not at the top center. It's slightly more to the back.
Hey Rob,
Why do you mention that you have to measure with your back against the stadiometer? It might not be optimal for some people although it is for others. Isn't your true height measured at your most optimal position/posture?
Medical professionals and any height research will always recommend standing tall with back against the device...but of course there should in theory be no difference when facing it.

Big Fernando Machorro : 5 foot 7 inches 1/2 (171.5 cm)
Someday in 2 months I think I would be taller than Big Rob.
Btw Rob, with the small platform you are standing at, does it really matter where in you're house you measure? It should be about the same everywhere almost.
Except for carpet...that causes some issues...and if your floor is terribly uneven, then that may give rise to a fraction difference...
Rob would you gave your advice for like 30th time to tarif to measure with stadiometre? The last time he made the measurement using it he look more like he's trying to bring it down rather than finding the exact number of his height

I’d definitely avoid carpet as it can throw the measurement off a fraction and the stadiometer can wobble about too!!
I wondered how I can get my height measured properly so everyone can see..I think I'm only about 5'3" so exceptionally short! Maybe you can measure me one day as you seem to have the right measurement equipment there!..Peter

Just use google to find a company that sells it in your country. Seca 213, should be $100 or so.

Most people when measured, face frontally it seems, right Rob? But as you once demonstrated, that doesn't make a difference.
It can be easier for some to measure facing, but for most height studies they will do it with back against the stadiometer.
Rob I think you should claim more about your height, as far as I remember you have listed your height as 5ft8 1/8 on your website, I'm 188.8 in the morning and 187.2 at night and I guess you would claim to be 6ft 1 and half (186.7 in cm)if you were my height 😅
That's a good loss of an inch. I'd still claim 6' 2" with that height.

Rob, please try to measure the way he did and see if you measure similarly to him. Seems like he's close to you in height, maybe slightly taller.
With my heels barely on and leaning forward a bit, yeah I can get like 1/8th difference from normal position facing the stadiometer.

Can anyone answer about will hgh add substantial amount of height if the person is not deficient in gh but his growth plates are open?
depends what is your maximum height potential
@Long Johnson but there have been several nba players who have taken hgh in their late teens and even in early 20s and have gained substantially like 7-8 inches in two years on hgh

Because you would get measured about 5 hours out of bed so you will lose already more than a cm
6’0”. nobody’s noticing a 5’11.75 to 6’0” difference

Well. I'm in a big confusion for my height because I myself claim to be at 5'7 but everyone else tells me that I'd rather resemble more to be at a 5'8 or 5'9 at least. So I guess if that's the case maybe I'll consider being at 5'9 then maybe 🤷

Why do u say that? On an inaccurate stadiometer he would. He just measured himself as over 5'8"+.

I'm in the same situation as you, I'm 5'9 in the morning and 5'8 1/3 at night.
I claim 5'8.5 or 174cm.
Pretty much the same as Robs shrinkage and he claims 5’8, 5’8 ½ should be ur claim
