I remember that Popsicle commercial clearly. The pug always freaked me out. My aunt had a pug and I always imagined him with that voice after this lol. God I miss my childhood!
7 years old. I was in kindergarden around this time. The days of youth. I didn't watch much Toon Disney or Cartoon Network back in the day, and Kids WB was my absolute favorite channel. I want this to be brought back so badly. DVD form or to stream on Netflix. I'll even take the commercial breaks with it.
I was 6 years old at the time.. I would do anything to turn back time and re-live this just one more time... Best years of my life and i know i dont speak just for myself
Yes! I loved the Kids WB and Fox Kids after school blocks during the week. I'm pretty sure I must have taped this on a weekday. going back further, anyone remember Eek the Cat? Now that Bobby's World is on Netflix, I'm hopeful that will go up, though I'm nervous it won't be as good as I remember.
Amazing that these commercials were broadcasted 13 years ago (When I was 10) and yet some of them feel like I could of just seen them a week ago. Crazy.
Haha! I remember all of these commercials! This was just a few days after I moved to my current neighborhood. May 27 to be exact! This was also two weeks before I turned 13!
This first preview for Tarzan that I ever saw was on the Bug's Life VHS. I was almost 11 at the time. It was also how I became a Phil Collins fan...I remember the ad for Cinna-Crunch Pebbles, but never tried them...I forgot about the ice cream marshmallows in Marshmallow Alpha Bits. I guess that wasn't long before they were discontinued...OMG! Those teletubby kids meals. I had the yellow one.
Thank you for this. I've been looking up the perfect set of commercials, for this time frame. I was just barely 10 years old, and I have (somewhat) a decent memory of most. As (a good guess, if taken one..) I'am a stoner and the one commercial that stood out the most is the fruit rollup one. I LOVED fruit rollups. It's just funny how that trippy ass marketing plow, helped me remember that commercial the most. In a way.. It must account for most of the trippy cartoons on now-a-days.. Seriously though. Not in the "Once a stoner, always a stoner.. even before ever getting sstoned braaah" way.. It just makes sense to me. Out of the ordinary obviously stands out.. Obviously a marketing tool....... but when it comes to children?? It's borderline mental abuse. It's soo fucking easy.. IT'S LIKE GIIIVING CANDY TO A BABY! Haha, i'm sure that's not the first time that lines was used, during a marketing/ advertisement meeting.
I was 9 at the time, I remember these days like it was only yesterday, waking up early of saturday mornings to see the new episodes of Pokemon, back when it was new and original, before youtube existed, recording new eps of VHS tapes if my parents made me go somewhere with them, the commericals were much more creative then the ones today, if only I could have one more day back in the 90s.
Wow those were the commercials of my childhood especially I was always the kid with the cable hot box ... I would always have it in channel 11 lol before it was called pix it was wb11 lol wow
Man, its weird because I just started highschool at this time so I had pretty much moved on from these shows (and I don't remember any of these ads), but just a few years prior this and Fox Kids were my life. Kinda sad honestly because shows like Tiny Toons and Animaniacs were a huge part of my childhood and by this time I'd given them up
Yeah. I try to get as much 90s/80s as I can in this time. I own a SEGA Genesis, Drink Pepsi throwback, watched Cartoon Planet every friday night and watch theese old bumpers. Cartoon planet is or was a block that aired on friday nights on Cartoon Network from March 30 2012 to August 31st. It wasn't cancelled but on hiatus.
Kids WB: May 31, 1999 Schedule: 3:00 - Pinky And The Brain - A Meticulous Analysis of History/Funny, You Don't Rhennish 3:30 - Histeria! - The U.S. Civil War (1) 4:00 - The New Batman/Superman Adventures - Superman - The Way of All Flesh Batman - Deep Freeze
I remember going to Burger King when I was in preschool and wanting a Teletubbies toy. They were out of the finger puppets so they had Tubby Custard instead. Yes, really. I can't remember how it tasted, but hey, I was a kid, almost everything tasted good to me back then.

I totally get it, the internet has ruined my physique. I was so good at TV tag.
And yeah, Histeria was the bomb.
Its weird not hearing a commercial that insists I look at my smartphone.
Man, its weird because I just started highschool at this time so I had pretty much moved on from these shows (and I don't remember any of these ads), but just a few years prior this and Fox Kids were my life.
