This is just my opinion. I play all characters in pvp and am better at some than others, but the following is from my current experience in u43: S+ - magsorc, magblade S - dk A+ - stamden, stamsorc A - Magden B+ - arcanist, stamblade B - templar B- - magcro C - stamcro
I just can't give magblades S, even though NB is my main class. They're aren't bad off, but compared to DK and Sorc right now those two are just in their own league. Also breaking the classes up from resources isn't really needed for necro just like DK, as a hybrid they're in a healthy spot (compared to last year), but separately their kit is lacking and they feel wonky. But I do like the rest of the list. What makes you put magblade so high though? I haven't been able to make mine outside of bombing do anything that would make it compete with a sorc
I dont agree on magblade either id say they are B+ Magden with acuity def on DK level or above, and the rest i agree expecially on cro i got an heartattack when i saw cro in A tier even with those random buffs to pve skills they get outperformed by nearly any class statwise
As a Templar main it pains me to play the class I’d say I’m a really good pvp’r but when I run up against a decent sorc I feel like I don’t stand a chance even if I get them low the ward is just to op gives them like a 10k+ damage shield to give them time to heal back up and then re apply it. Also came back after a big break and now I’m even struggling killing necros which was a laughable class lol
Things I’d change for plar (as someone’s who’s maimed since game came out) - radiant oppression should not be able to be interrupted - extended ritual should cleanse all negative effects like the synergy does not just 5 -change master ritual passive literally a waste maybe something like after using restoring light ability grant minor mending or some other buff just flat stats or recovery just something - change sacred ground to major mending when plar came out it was meant to be a healer now it’s barley top 5 like you said - add extra strike to jabs bring back old animation (faster) - power of light buff maybe more damage and sundered lasting duration of the the ability literally lose the minor breach when it pops it’s ridiculous - buff burning light passive (more damage) -bring back og dark flare and increase major defile from 12 to 16% as a whole to also generally nerf sorcs - as for ulties it’s tough maybe have rite of passage give major protection for a duration after or some other buff and for sweep I think you can’t do much considering it only costs 75 That’s all I got
The constant nerf to the templar class is something I always end up ranting about because they used to be the go-to solo class, and they got nerfed into the ground for no reason. I just feel templars deserve a whole overhaul, because the few buffs in U44 just aren't enough
Wish I comment earlier, but templar is still relevant in 1v1 and bg, just not open pvp. The key is do not play melee. If you play in pc NA I can show you how. Outside stormhaven of course.
need to see a full build guide from you on DK, i've never been able to run one and feel good on it. granted i don't have most of the sets yet, still new, but once i hit 50 and lose the boosted stats it feels terrible man.
Yea the DK is a harder one to get ahold of, but once you get used to it they're a blast. Dragon leaping into fights is probably my favorite thing to do lol I will be making a set up here soon that will be good through update 44
Hey, I respect your opinion, but DKs are nowhere near Sorcs and NBs right now. I rarely see a DK on top of the damage logs in BGs or Cyro. The bulk of any DK damage is also flames of oblivion, which is not burst damage. Also, we are in a ranged meta and DKs shine in melee range. Dks have no mobility, no streak or cloak. DKs are not any tankier than any other class, ouside coag. Sorcs are much tankier with Hardened Ward at its OP current state. One can even argue that Warden is also in a better place damage wise, since they are the ones used for DD in every serious group out there. The corrosive nerf, along combustion, made all the good DK builds lackluster and is very hard to build properly and still have enough burst to finish players.
LOL like the new intro and yer right it takes alot to do decent in PvP as an Arcanist and it's PAINFUL.. I'll NEVER forgive the bunghole devs for removing our execute.. biggest.. stupidest mistake they have ever made and now they are doing it again with nerfing runeguard. Just my opinion but the devs are out of control
I'm not even a big arcanist player and I feel like it was just rude lol like yea it was strong but it was like the main attack for the arc in PvP, that's like nerfing the surprise attack from the NB
I'll 100% hand you that, I am not familiar with dueling at all. Like I do duel tournaments with other Cyro players but I have never been big on the dueling scene like some guilds are. So I will have to take your word for it lol
I still wreck people, and with pyrebrand dk is pretty darn powerful. Tanky, great attack skills, great defensive skills, great resource sustain, and can work in plenty of mobility.
There is no way DK is anything other than S right now. They have insane utility, great in ball groups, zergs, and even small groups. DK are super mobile, high damage, and have the class utility that can carry them through anything. Def S.

@@Kelpci i play in grayhost pcna! Hehe i run in 3 ballgroups and none of them have DK as DDs. They are either healer or support.

Dk is maybe S tier in open world but in duels without pyrebrand it gets shit on
