The thing I love most about Ina is that for all of her wealth and fame, she does not seem greedy for more. She could take the traditional route of other celebrity chefs licensing her name into a ‘lifestyle brand”, yet she seems content enough to keep it smaller so she can enjoy life with her husband and friends.
I met Ina and her husband in Ireland last Summer. They were at the Ballymaloe Cookery School in Cork. She is absolutely lovely I have to say - warm and genuine!
Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa). You are the best cook in the world. You are so smoothing, Classic . I had two of your books. And I follow you . I am a cook from Colombia. God bless you.
Who doesn't just adore Ina Garten? And my heart melted knowing that she and Jeffrey met when they were just 15 years old! It is so inspiring to see a lifelong love like this beautiful couple shares. Mazel Tov Ina and Jeffrey!
Thank you for the video! Ina Garten is just a beautiful, warm, hospitable and genuine person who is always so real which is why so many people are able to easily connect with her. She has followed her heart and her passion. I love watching her show - she inspires me and I always feel encouraged that I am actually able to cook and prepare dishes really well. I love her statement that one of the best gifts you can give people is to cook for them' - a powerful statement and one that I will never forget. Thank you ina!
I mean, what a gorgeous couple. They seem so much in love and have so much respect for one another. I love Ina, I've been a follower for a long time. I relate to her in that I also hated my office job and left it for good, I mean I cried every morning, no joke. Now I do what I like and it seems I have not worked in a very long time even though I work 12+ hours a day sometimes 😂 do what you love!!! 💖💖💖
I love to watch her show and a lot of my cooking is based on her delicious recipes. I have learned so much from watching her. I also own a couple of her books and really enjoy her new recipes.
i agree with the Contessa- those new fangled ways of cooking bah humbug, is it even real food they serve? this gal is the real deal if you truly love to cook and truly love who you cook for
Ina’s absolutely right... Nothing says, I love you like cooking or baking something yummy for your loved ones. I did it for over forty years. Julia, Martha & Ina my imaginary posse! 😂😂😂
I know everybody wants to say they are her biggest fan but I am here to tell you that no one could appreciate the food crafting of Ina more than I do! I especially love how she brings Jeffrey into the picture on her show and the mutual doting of their love for each other makes all of what she does with food complete.
I love how, at 4:20, Martha Stewart says , "She grew the business by giving her customers what THEY wanted." Well, duh. That's how it's done, especially with wealthy Hamptons clientele. Not giving customers what they want is a surefire way to wreck a business, and Ina is not the sort to let such a thing happen. She's far too business savvy.
I fell in love with Ina watching my 3 month old grand daughter lick her lips while watching the show. I said to myself - This kid is super smart, and will love the art of cooking. LOL!
everything I need to know about the barefoot contessa I learned when she turned down a 6 year old cancer patient through the make a wish foundation twice because she was just too busy
Around 2011, the Make-A-Wish Foundation tried to get Mrs. Garten to make a dying boy's dream come true and meet with her and have her sign a cookbook for him. They asked MORE THAN ONCE and Mrs. Garten always said NO. She was doing a book tour. (source, ABC News) For me, this has always been unacceptable. She chose money over a dying boy's request. Shameful.
You're being unfair. She had a right to refuse to meet up with him. Celebrities are people too and shouldn't have to feel obligated to meet up with anyone for any reason.
@@jusssayin480 She certainly does, and did, and people who support her should know who they are really supporting. There's nothing "unfair" about education.
She said that request did not get to her because her manager/crew overlooked it. They said Ina gets hundreds of requests every single day from fans all over the world and during that time, Ina was on a cookbook tour. That’s why the request was denied twice. But as soon as she heard about the uproar, she finally said Yes to the request. But the kid already settled for his 2nd request to just see dolphins. Even the family confirmed in a statement that they didn’t mean to humiliate Ina and put her in a negative spotlight. It was only the media & social media that fueled the situation.

What were they doing there? Was she teaching? Or were they learning?
Always reference Ina - she never misses! Thanks so much, Ina!
✨👏✨👏✨👏✨👏✨👏✨👏✨
My mom met Ina at a demo and Ina was the sweetest person. Plus, I love how accepting she seems to be to everyone. And her cooking is great, too!

I adore Ina and Jeffrey, so good natured and genuine.
Inna , you and ted turner are legends !
I just love how over the years Ina Garten taught me and so many others how to cook and bake.
I love Ina Garten so much!!!! She is the best chef on TV. So nice to watch her show...

Ina ROCKS!!!!!!!!
i just love her!
So nice..
Every one of her recipes is a standard.
Think about all of the TH-cam cooks she inspired such as Chef John (Food Wishes), Kenji Lopez-Alt, Adam Ragusea, etc.
In a inadvertently became an American icon!
The persona is nice, always, and that's why we go...
I've been watching her show for a while but I never knew how to pronounce her name. I was say "Eena", instead of with a long i sound.
That's some 'barn'. :)
As to why they stopped playing it Food Network RSA. 💔
she was 66 years old in this video holy shit
I'm aliiive!!!
You know you said martin, right?
everything I need to know about the barefoot contessa I learned when she turned down a 6 year old cancer patient through the make a wish foundation twice because she was just too busy
Jane Fonda was barefoot contessa movie
I love you
Very nice interview, CBS! I would love Ina to do a report on her and her gay friends! That would be great!
Nathan Bush hi
We do!
hi mark
She looked so much like Ali McGraw
❤️❤️❤️
I don't like these ridiculous new shows with all the stunts and noise. Cooking is supposed to be fun not stressful.
Love me some Ina

AND DON'T SHE EVER CHANCE CLOTHES
I love her, just basic and love the home, OMG would love to be her neighbor
Better be wealthy if you want to own a home in the east hamptons.
Is it true that Ina refused a child with Cancer a Make a Wish?
The Unboxer If the kid wished for her to give up butter...

Right, because it's a 7 year old boy's dream to cook with Ina Garten. More like the mother's dream.
