It's normal at their age, being young, beautiful, succesful, dancing and having fun together - to feel the chemistry and want to interact, they enjoy one another's company. But I don't see them romantic envolved. A teenage crush, maybe but a long term relationship of them, defenetly no. They must continue to cherish their beautiful friendship and maintain it unpolluted - sometimes a true friend values more than a lover

This video make me hurt... Its always nice to see Hanyu interaction with another skaters. Evgenia,.obviously is one of female skater that have a good chemistry with Hanyu. Another are Asada Mao and Kanako. I am not shipping them, but i believe they have a good chemistry and understanding to become a best friend. Alina have a same admiration as evgenia to Hanyu, heck he not really interact this warm and comfortable with Alina... I think Hanyu sometime seem in low energy at GPF 2019 not just because he's lost the first position, but he also miss his friendship with another skater

No name attached but since it mention TCC, speculation roar that the mail sent by overzealous Hanyu's fans because of their friendship and fact that Zhenya move to TCC. So we never saw their interact in front of the camera anymore. Seem that not the first time though, since Zhenya move to TCC she got a lot of hate from overzealous fanyu or (some) people from her country that called her a traitor for left Eteri. But publicly shipping two living people is a gross invasion of privacy ( They are not characters in an anime ppl). Tbh I don't even think it was the shipping that did this to their friendship, I think it was all the hate she received because people actually thought it was true. she was receiving death threat even way after their friendship cooled in 2019. It's the haters, also because she was moving to TCC people just assumed it was for him and basically started to hate her cause they thought it was true. But I do hope that even though they can't show their friendship publicly anymore, they're able to still be friends privately.
Angel it’s not the first or the last time people are gonna ship people, skaters. You can’t blame people for thinking they look good together, we as people do it to people we know or celebrities. The problem comes from when people feel entitled and mad that they start sending death threats and cyber bullying one them (Zhenya) just because they don’t want them to date the other (Yuzuru). People were shipping them a couple of years before she decided to move to TCC, their friendship remained the same and grew, there wasn’t a problem until some people decided to attack a then 18 year old girl.
I think their friendship ruined not because they shipped, but some people didnt like the possibility that they might be get closer to each other, and start threatening one party. Even without shipping, hater just gonna hate anyway when they see Zhenya and Hanyu casually interact. I personally not againts shipping real life person. But i againt shipper that start hating their idol's real couple. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet might be the most shipped couple on earth, but their friendship last forever because no one terror anyone. Not to Leo, Kate, or their significant other.
Even though I know that we as humans unintentionally ship people, but I think it's better not to publicly ship because it draws hate from people who disagree with the shipping. In this case, people are just jealous that they cant be Evgenia (or the other way around) because she is a friend of Yuzu. No matter what type of relationship Yuzu has with other people, he has the right to keep it to himself. We want him to be happy, not alone:)

There are only 3 girls which I have ever seen Yuzu comfortable with. 1. Kanako Murakami. 2. Yulia Lipstinkaya 3. Evgenia Medvedeva. (Mao Asada and Suzuki Akiko were only treated as sisters by Yuzu). Unfortunately, Yuzu and Kanako were not seen so close like they used to after 2015. Maybe because Kanado did not perform well in competition, she drew herself away from Yuzu. We can't see Yuzu and Yulia interact together again because Yulia has retired. You guys can see that only Evgenia, Yulia, and Kanako that Yuzu hug while putting his hand on their shoulder, hip directly. While he did not do the same with Alina. Yuzu seemed to make limit and distance with Alina. Meanwhile, with Evgenia he seemed quite close and free.. I hope Evgenia will do well for the next competion. Hope the best for Yuzu and Evgenia whether it's their achievements and life! 😊😇🙏

This is why we fans should not be overzealous. Even I think those two look cute together. But publicly shipping two living people is a gross invasion of privacy ( They are not characters in an anime ppl). Because of this, even if there was a chance of two being more than friends, well, the ship has sunk even before it has sailed
Tbh I don't even think it was the shipping that did this to their friendship, I think it was all the hate she received because people actually thought it was true. she was receiving death threat even way after their friendship cooled in 2019. It's the haters, also because she was moving to TCC people just assumed it was for him and basically started to hate her cause they thought it was true. But I do hope that even though they can't show their friendship publicly anymore, they're able to still be friends privately.

Angel it’s not the first or the last time people are gonna ship people, skaters. You can’t blame people for thinking they look good together, we as people do it to people we know or celebrities. The problem comes from when people feel entitled and mad that they start sending death threats and cyber bullying one them (Zhenya) just because they don’t want them to date the other (Yuzuru). People were shipping them a couple of years before she decided to move to TCC, their friendship remained the same and grew, there wasn’t a problem until some people decided to attack a then 18 year old girl.
I think their friendship ruined not because they shipped, but some people didnt like the possibility that they might be get closer to each other, and start threatening one party. Even without shipping, hater just gonna hate anyway when they see Zhenya and Hanyu casually interact. I personally not againts shipping real life person. But i againt shipper that start hating their idol's real couple.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet might be the most shipped couple on earth, but their friendship last forever because no one terror anyone. Not to Leo, Kate, or their significant other.
Even though I know that we as humans unintentionally ship people, but I think it's better not to publicly ship because it draws hate from people who disagree with the shipping. In this case, people are just jealous that they cant be Evgenia (or the other way around) because she is a friend of Yuzu. No matter what type of relationship Yuzu has with other people, he has the right to keep it to himself. We want him to be happy, not alone:)

There are only 3 girls which I have ever seen Yuzu comfortable with. 1. Kanako Murakami. 2. Yulia Lipstinkaya 3. Evgenia Medvedeva. (Mao Asada and Suzuki Akiko were only treated as sisters by Yuzu). Unfortunately, Yuzu and Kanako were not seen so close like they used to after 2015. Maybe because Kanado did not perform well in competition, she drew herself away from Yuzu. We can't see Yuzu and Yulia interact together again because Yulia has retired. You guys can see that only Evgenia, Yulia, and Kanako that Yuzu hug while putting his hand on their shoulder, hip directly. While he did not do the same with Alina. Yuzu seemed to make limit and distance with Alina. Meanwhile, with Evgenia he seemed quite close and free.. I hope Evgenia will do well for the next competion. Hope the best for Yuzu and Evgenia whether it's their achievements and life! 😊😇🙏
