But I asked my faculty to record the lectures for my future reference but they said ppt is enough. But as an avg student i can't get it at one go, even I don't like to read ppt. So i want to start recording with phone cam but hav fear what if they notice. And thanks for ur tutorial. I wish all my teachers r like u one day.

My advice is to ask permission to sit in the front and record the audio so that you can listen to it again later. Also, many universities in the US have educational accessibility departments that can advocate for students who have recording or note-taking needs. I'm not sure how it is abroad. Best of luck!

Hello, what about recording a classroom with the students participating in audio, interactions between teacher and students. What would you recommend for a microphone for an iphone and where should it be positioned?

Check out the Rode Wireless Go II. I wear one mic, and pass the other around the room.
