Q is super mysterious, but something that I think people tend to gloss over is his insane strength. Other characters can shoot lasers or spin in the air, but Q can bring down both of his hands on the back of someone’s neck so hard the ground shatters and they go flying upwards. He is truly inhuman.
Q canonically is extremely strong. When he parries you, he's more concerned with dusting off his coat than actually doing any defensive maneuver. That, and, Q is very restrained and limited when it comes to how he fights so he isn't even using his real strength
Q reminds me of Michael Myers in many ways. He doesn't speak, breathes heavily, he's murderous, comes from out of nowhere when he wants, stares and stalks a lot, has super strength, doesn't run but walk, and wears a mask except it's made of iron.
I believe that Q wants to have an honorable death by being defeated by a powerful opponent. But what happens is that sometimes he ends up killing his opponent unintentionally, so he stomps him at the end of the round to find out if he is still alive ...
I'm gonna be honest: I was never into SF, but after I discovered about Q and the mysteries surrounding him, I fell in love with Q. I really love a good mistery, and I think Q is an absolute badass character for this
I've been thinking about this for a while, but what if G isn't actually Q? What if G really does become President of the Earth and has an army of Qs as a secret service of sorts? Maybe G taught them his fighting style, but the Qs haven't perfected it yet, hence the "downgrades" to the moves.
I feel like how things are wrapping up. It's going to be a battle to take over Bison's spot as unofficial World Dictator. Like G's presidency, Gill's Illuminati, Seth's remnants, and whoever else.
It makes sense, given that G can use magma in his attacks and has weird gold accents that make Q seem more normal, with the closest Q coming to G's power being an explosion. Not to mention that Q straddles the line between machine and man at times, having a metal head even when shocked, spouting computerized warnings during a Super, and shutting down if killed by chip damage, complete with his eyes going dark. That said, he also has a very smooth and human parry where he brushes off his coat, and a muscular system seen when he gets shocked. Maybe the Illuminati's tech is being used to make cyborgs?
Cool Keeper Gill does note that he’s seen G’s powers before. Maybe they were impressive enough for Gill to want soldiers like that. Or something. It seems like Q might be a serial killer considering his victory animation where he crushes your face, and in his ending he’s been spotted by the CIA in the stages of the game, which have become murder scenes

Im gonna be Q for Halloween this year!!!! Almost nobody will know who I am, but I think that'll add to the Q aesthetic. Hopefully we'll see him again in the Street Fighter universe some time soon.
Given G's reception I do wonder if we get any advances on the Q/G stuff in SF6 but I think it's plausible that the gold fully takes him over and that's why Q doesn't have any exposed skin. Ultimately, Q wasn't designed with an elaborate backstory but as a homage to Robotto Keiji/The Question/Rorschach and other noir tropes. This theme really works with that.

They better add Q into Street Fighter 6 as a character or at least hide him in the backgrounds Edit: [TL:DR dark stage with Q clones give Q new moves] decided that being in the background is not what he deserves but he should be added into the game with his stage being a dark and massive room with dim lights and lot's of "clone" of Q looking at the arena through the masks just as a reference to his ending in third strike so that he has a proper stage instead of no stage that way in a stage select you can pick his stage to hear his theme (I don't know if that's how it would work because I only played super street fighter 4 arcade edition and the games before it) and also give Q some new moves like a dash grab, invincible teleport (like akuma), slam and stomp grab, mid-air slam fall, gut punch (like in his super art 2), and an electric punch
People are always asking who Q is, or if he's G. I think he's best left as an enigma, not under the control of another person, and not another person we've seen before. He comes off as strange and uncanny and makes you feel unnerved just by his idle stance, I think they should keep him a mystery.

Honestly I'm fine with this guy staying a big question mark, since Capcom REALLY tends to drop the ball when it comes to telling stories about otherwise really interesting characters. If they bring Q back for real, I REALLY hope they bring in writers or at least editors that know what they're doing.

That would be great for the single player mode! Randomly while walking around metro city you see a crowd of people running away with Q appearing shortly after. That would be awesome.
Some people have noticed that Q stumbles during some of his attacks, which could be marked off as him being clumsy, but some people believe this is because he’s trying to hold back. Maybe his mask is forcing him to attack others, and that’s why we see people run from him during his intro.

Here’s something to think about, Maybe G and Q are part of some organization, with all of the members being named after a letter in the alphabet, with the trench coat and metal mask being their main outfit, which explains why G has a similar costume to Q in his character story in sfv.This could also explain Q’s ending where there were a string of unsolved murders, and this organization was sending these members to do them.
Well he does a truckload of damage and has the best defensive capabilities in the entire game. He just suffers from bad mobility and being in a game where high mobility, offense, and projectiles are extremely useful and just being a tank who can take a hit and dish one out isn't really a desired trait in characters as much as other good traits

As a Q player myself (i just started playing the character for about a solid week and ive been getting better and better at playing Q) That beat drop gives me determination to defeat my opponent and finish them off with deadly double combination (or neck snap)

Maybe G and Q are part of some organization, with all of the members being named after a letter in the alphabet, with the trench coat and metal mask being their main outfit, which explains why G has a similar costume to Q in his character story in sfv.This could also explain Q’s ending where there were a string of unsolved murders, and this organization was sending these members to do them.

Another character that's low tier. But despite that, I still like to use him.
Well he does a truckload of damage and has the best defensive capabilities in the entire game. He just suffers from bad mobility and being in a game where high mobility, offense, and projectiles are extremely useful and just being a tank who can take a hit and dish one out isn't really a desired trait in characters as much as other good traits

I like the theory that Q and G are part of a generation of Superhumans either before Seth and Abel or between them and Gill/Urien. Which kinda explains why the only person in SFV that knows or remembers G in some way is Gill.
