Let me know if you guys are enjoying the Radical Red series! Always love to hear feedback/comments from you guys! What Pokémon did you use to battle Giovanni’s sand team?!
6:29 oh it was holding a dragon fang? I assumed you gave it choice scarf so it could outspeed the dracovish, giovanni saw that and that's why he switched out initially
Nah, I don’t have access to any choice items at this point in the game yet unfortunately. Haxorus always gets outsped by Dracovish here. Though, I’m not exactly sure why Dracovish switched out the first time. Maybe it saw a good/safe matchup for Regirock to set up.
@@VersacePokemon i guess as a dragon type haxorus resists fishious rend but he wasn't choice locked either and i imagine fishious rend would still do big damage. That is interesting.
@@tj01144 to be honest, I don’t remember. I probably got it from a care package. Using the SO2Toxic cheat code, you get a care package often times when you enter a new area, and it pretty much gives you all of the items available up to point. It’s great for saving time, instead of running around looking for everything, but now I don’t know exactly where the dragon fang normally is. I do recommend playing with care packages though. It’s one of those QOL things that makes the game less tedious without hurting the actual difficulty.
7:25 tbh, i think mega garchomp already has a high enough attack stat. I think the original creators should've given it sand rush instead of sand force and it would have been way more potent. Would have made up for the fact that garchomp loses speed upon mega evolving
I agree, sand rush would be way better than sand force on mega chomp. At that point it might be TOO op though lol. You can always run swords dance too, vs being unable to run ddance. Power isn’t the issue, it’s speed. Sand rush would be super busted on mega chomp.
@@VersacePokemon yeah in regular competitive it probably would have been banned too ubers. I think gamefreak should have looked for a fast pokemon that didn't have a super high attack stat to give sand force to. That's what made excadril a great sand rush user. It had a high attack stat but its base speed wasn't great. However, with sand rush it was both fast and strong in sand
@@rishabhanand4973 speaking of weather abilities, I hope they’ll give slush rush to a lot more mons. Ice has such cool Pokémon but they get done so dirty by the typing, at least the defense boost with snow now helps a little. But no matter what they do, I don’t see anything being better than rain teams
@@VersacePokemon i told you in another video... He is the leader of the Ferrothorn gang in Antisis city, he basically is a boss, If you want to fight him you must have complete one mission in crater town were you get a motorcycle and join your band (In this case it will be called The Black Versace), then you go to antisis city and find the Black Versace headquaters, then a lot of grunts of the ganh will give you a bunch of missions, once you complete all of them the principal mission appears were your gang (The Black Versace) will try to invade the Ferrothorn gang's headquaters, in that place you could fight their leader, Barbs, and once you defeat him, you get a Heracrossite
@@jcraftsito5069 sorry if I forgot, thanks for the reminder. I haven’t battled him yet, I have to beat the missions first but I will do it at some point! I plan on doing pretty much everything in the post-game.

This fight was a nightmare for me. My main counters for this fight were Lycanroc, Meganium, Alolan Ninetales, and Sevii Milotic
It was a nightmare for me too lol, Seviian Milotic was definitely helpful though!

Where did you find the dragon fang? I'm trying to Google it but striking out

Sand force boosts Ground,Steel and Rock type moves not his attack
I don't know if you already did it but are you going to battle Barbs in Pokemon Unbound?
Who is Barbs and where do I battle them?
