You could put that corner bookshelf that you didn't care much for behind your rocking chair. Fill it with all of his knick knacks that you get from fam and friends. That way you’re utilizing for space without taking from anything else in the room and since you're not a huge fan the chair would hide a bit of it. Such a cute room!!!

Honestly, thank god for your parents, they are such joyful gems that make my heart so happy. And whenever we see how erratic and whitty they are it reminds us “wow, that’s why Lizze is this way” and the world is so thankful
My dad is currently helping me move and I would be lost without him, when you said he’s old and sore and still going gosh do I feel that for them! I’m busy with my 1 year old so haven’t been helping a whole lot. Love seeing your relationship with your dad, helps me appreciate mine ❤
I love how much love is in that nursery ❤ also, Ryland is NOT wrong about clothes! Save the clothes purchases for those extra special items you find along the way. Everyone is going to give you clothes and there's so much that gets used once and then passed on. My daughter is 4 and now we have to buy her more than before because at this age they are just absolutely destroying their clothes from playing hard in them 😂

Then------- when he got here.. she and him became the very best friends in the world.. that was unmatched I have to say!☺😅 We just lost her this past February.. but man did she leave my son and I with some of the most cherished and loving memories. Mostly of how she was there for both of us.. and how much she loved being a mum and a grandma! Soooooooo.. the nursery is cute as all heck.. but the fact that your dad did this for you and your son... just made my heart burst with happiness for you!!! Also..
