    I really only have 2 concerns about potentially losing lebby. 1. I don’t want to spend another year “starting over”, and 2. I worry about the implications it may have with Jackson Arnold. We absolutely can’t afford to lose him. It seems like he’s all in, but does that change if lebby leaves?

      He was interested until Riley chose Malachi Nelson and then when Lebby took the OC job and contacted Jackson then he was interested again and committed early and has been a hell of a recruiter for this 23 class

      Its ok, BV should go talk Patty, KJ Kindler and Jenny B at OU, then he might understand how to win Natties.

    Think about this if Lebby goes to Bama and Oklahoma and Texas goes to the SEC early we could possibly play against an OC that has prior inside knowledge of our defensive scheme that would suck huh

    It doesn't take weeks to say no. If Lebby is talking to Alabama "for weeks now", then they are negotiating a contract.

    stone is going to OU, OU told him to take all his visits (probably) and hes doing that and hes growing his brand/name. why wouldnt he? hes a top 2 defensive line and a top 4 player in the country. im not really worried as long as ATM is not a true contender for him. also demarco murray is killing it.

    This sounds like a strategic move to destabilize the offense for future benefit before the SEC move. Any new OC will face the SEC with only one year at the program going into uncharted waters.

    Bixby was very average until about 7 8 years ago now they passed jenks and union . David stone too is the biggest recruit bc he local he elite and that the position we have to improve. I feel he is a guy nil will need to be pushed more then most and we have it we can do it and we need too for him. He be a very huge loss if it is was to msu then ou dropped the ball. We cannot blow his recruitment. We lost the norman guy to msu this year but stone lot better lived here his entire life stone is a must get

      It would make OU look bad and at the same time could set our program back should DG and/or JA decide to leave the program with no Lebby as OC. Recruiting for 2024 would likely take a hit and the 2023 season would likely be a repeat of the 2022 season.

    I think Lebby realizes it'd be a hard sell for him to pull Jackson Arnold away from OU. That young man is extremely loyal and committed 100% to OU. If Lebby did leave I'd like to see Kliff Kingsbury or Joe Brady at OC.

    • @MarkFloyd7451
      @MarkFloyd7451 ปีที่แล้ว

      They would likely not happen. Lebby leaving now will only hurt the program. DG and/or JA may not want to stay if Lebby leaves. Also it makes OU look weak and getting a good OC now is very hard to do.
