We stayed in June in 15 Palms. But the Beach was dark at evening, all closed and no Action..better to see this now. But this Resort has very big rooms and very good food 👍

It's not so white currently ( but that's the time of the year I guess ) I love fireshows ( although are they not banned ?🤣) Do you know Leam Mae Phim beach ? It's worth diverting too on the way back to Bangkok
I am Thai. I am agree with you , it ' s not white as its name now , the white sand beach is really white along time ago before the resorts and accomodations are built and so many peple visiting. I travel to Koh chang more than ten times , the last is two year ago stayed at Ao proa beach and plan to Koh Chang in this December. I am quite like Koh Chang and it always be my choice for the sea place eventhough it is hardly changed but it is still okay and do many activities , swimming , fishing , snorkelling ,kayaking , bike aroud the island , eating the fresh seafood ect. and it 's about 5 hours from bangkok for self- driving as while as the southern like as Koh Samui , Koh Phi Phi spend more time. However Koh Phi Phi , Koh Samui are very very amazing and so cool.
Hi again. The English guy who owns 15 Palms also owns Paddy's Palms, so is probably doing ok. Maybe you could support another restaurant which is Thai owned? I hate Fire Shows lol.

KOH CHANG SURE HAS BEAUTIFUL WIDE BEACHES! COZUMEL HAS CLEAR WATER OCEAN BUT WE DON'T HAVE THOSE BEACHES!
