I think this is one of the prettiest layouts I have seen, so I think that when I come to scrapbook my g/g/daughter's first birthday with her cake which was a green colour, I will have to scrap-lift your page!! Like your daughter, she enjoyed smashing into her cake with her proud Auntie who made it for her watching on!!

I’ve never thought of matting printed paper but it’s a great idea.
It's not something I do a lot either, but with all the white backgrounds on these patterns it definitely helped add some definition to the layers.
