As an American Fijian Im just so mindblown by the musicality of Sakiusa, my dad played his music as a child, my father has passed but listening to this music brings me so much joy and I am NOW absolutely mesmerized by these songs
I'm from Papua New Guinea and Sakiusa's music is the real deal... my father had CDs and we heard this music like in every family gathering... after 15 years I still love this music.. leagend in the Pacific.. best in the Pacific
You bet. Yup I'm glad that his music is still played in your country today and you still loved it. I hope to bring this type of music back in my own home but a challenge I face everyday. My children are influenced by todays music industry..rap..rip..rup... rek....I dont understand what they saying...its like talking so fast that left you grasping trying to figure out what they're saying...oilei tamana.. Thanks for bringing this back. Wonderful memories of the past and beautiful voice. Saki is the best at mixing all and make it lively and fun. Before TV came to Fiji in early 80s, radio was the main medium and so was Sakiusa Bulicokocokos songs. Not a great composer tho but skillful in his voice. I love this guy and all his pieces. Another living legend and many thanks for the post.

No musicians in Fiji can replace Sakuisa..he!s also well-known around t Pacific...specially when he tour around Van..during 70!s..my favorite singer..
